You would be better sleeping on the beach, even in mid winter. I suppose at least it was not windy and the rain didn't come in. If you are an asylum seeker you might consider it. Room cramped, beds uncomfortable, bathroom door broken. Can't think of anything to recommend.

A very basic hostel. No carpet, dark fairly drab feeling, lots of TV's in the dining room, the lounge is very basic and non-cozy place. for a short stay of two nights in Brighton my experience in this place was good, warm reception, really comfy bed and one of the girls of the staff did not have problem to offer me the breakfast earlier coz my coach were departing in the morning. I recommend the place.
