We stayed one night for a place to crash after a gig. Our reservation was "lost" when we got there so we kindly waited for them to sort it out. When we went up to the room, our sheets and pillows were missing. The room and bathrooms were not clean and no toilet paper either. Room was shabby and not... More

Thank you for your response. We have numerous long staying guests, some staying for years at a time and this is the first time I've heard someone say that they have contracted 'Scabies'. This is incredibly surprising as our sheets are washed to the highest standards - you also say that you got this weeks after staying here so really,... More

I discovered this new hostel and thought I would give it a try due to it's location. I can safely say I will never be staying at this hostel again. I requested a bottom bunk when booking due to medical reasons, rang up and was told I have definitely been allocated one, only to be told when I arrived that... More

Good points: The night porter (Rob) was very funny and helpful. You have somewhere to store luggage if you wish (although not individually locked up - all bags are placed in the basement so other guests could have access to your bags). Curtains around each bed for privacy. Bad points: You can see by my other reviews that I always... More

The hostel is located in the centre of Brighton. There are many markets and stores close to the hostel. It is only 5 minutes from train station, 10 min from beach or pub on foot. Hostel has a big and comfortable hall in which share a little bit of Brighton life with other guests. There are two kitchen, on groundfloor... More

Really good hostel, lots of common toilets and showers, common area to meet people, kitchen facilities. Best part it is so close to the station and the pier and the lanes where there are cute cafes and shops!

Where to start... I was made to wait at reception while the only of staff had a cigarette outside and was chatting to people. When I got to the room my bed had been used. Told the girl. She told me it was clean, just been moved. Not sure on that one, but having been travelling for 16 hours, couldn't... More

I booked a room on the day and was checked in quickly on arrival. The room I was in had 12 beds and was nice and clean, the mattress itself was firm but comfortable. I went out to a local nightclub and when I came back the receptionist let me in when I showed my wristband. Breakfast was nice and... More

Stayed as part of a large group (50). Rooms were typically what you'd expect for a hostel, with three tier bunk beds. Each sleeping cubicle has its own curtains which is a nice touch. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, just due to our sheer numbers. One toaster, that takes one piece of toast at a time, and... More

The atmosphere is good, all the staff is gently and efficient. The hostel is close to everything, the sea, the main streets and the busy parts... More
