I just want to write a few lines to say that we had an exceptional week at Paskins - the rooms were fantastic, very smart art deco style and thoughtful touches, an apple by hte bed, large cartons of water, they really go the extra mile. The breakfasts were SUPERB, we went through the entire menu and now crave the... more

We recently stayed two nights at Paskins Town House and enjoyed the whole experience. The hotel owners and staff were welcoming, attentive, informative and very helpful. We loved our room which was a standard double ensuite. It was furnished and decorated imaginatively in art deco style with attention paid to the smallest detail. Whilst the room was cosy with soft... more

After reading many reviews of this 'hotel' and the 'fantastic breakfasts' I can only say we were somewhat disappointed with our stay. I think the hotel is overpriced! We had a room which slept 3 and was ensuite but the beds were small and uncomfortable; my bed in particular felt that if you moved to one side it would tip... more

How nice to come to a bed and breakfast that felt individual, ticked all the boxes with their lovely breakfast, and offered very friendly service to boot. The location was great; a stones throw from the beach, and a pleasant ten minute walk to all the lanes. Although in a ground floor room on the street, you couldn't hear a... more

We were allocated room 9, right at the top of the hotel. The room was very nice, with two windows, modern bathroom (also very small). Our friends were in room 8, on the floor below which was more spacious than ours. We paid £95 a night including breakfast, which for Brighton is not extorsionate. It is located in Kemptown, and... more

The building was gorgeous, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was the most satisfying breakfast we had ever had - so very accommodating to vegetarians and my allergies. Our room was on the top floor and was a small room (one of the small attic rooms). We were well warned before hand by staff and were pleasantly... more

I made reservations over the internet for Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at the cost of £85.. Unfortunately I had to cancel, which I did so the Saturday before. Speaking with David, the manager, he cancelled the reservation however refused to credit my account saying "I agreed to their policy by reserving on line". I asked him if he would then... more

Stayed here for 5 nights in room 17 on the 3rd floor facing Charlotte Street. Good things: Configuration of the room was great. The door from the main hall opened into a little hallway with the bathroom to the right and the bedroom to the left. Great for privacy in the bathroom. The room had a big bed and enough... more

Just spent 3 nights at Paskins and loved every minute. The staff are polite efficient and friendly. Breakfasts are imaginative and beautifully presented in a cosy dining room. I can't imagine getting a better breakfast at a 5* hotel. Paskins is in an excellent location for the town centre but being on a side road it is still very quiet.... more
