Firstly, I'd just like to thank everyone who reviewed the Adelaide Hotel on Trip-Advisor. These reviews convinced me to book a weekend stay here (Fri 24th/Sat 25th April 2007) for my girlfriend's 25th birthday, & I have to say that after our 2 nights I have nothing but positives to write about this hotel. I will give a full detailed... more

We stayed here for two nights in March. The location is excellent - perfect for both the restaurants and the lanes - and, as others have said, the hotel is comfortable, clean and very friendly. Despite it's central location, it is a peacful and restful place to stay in Brighton. Recommended. more

Perfect! My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend of the 5th/6th of November. We took the top room, which despite being up quite a lot of stairs (we were adequately informed of this fact before we booked) the room was charming, clean, airy and light. There was a king sized bed and a well equipped bathroom. Although we... more

My mother and I stayed at the Adelaide in Brighton at the beginning and the ending of our two week vacation in the Southeast of England this last November 2006. In addition to being quite beautiful, this B&B is extremely clean and well- kept. The non-smoking rooms are reasonably sized, have modern showers, and reasonable rates. You will have to... more

I stayed here with my wife for one night. The hotel is not glamorous nor particularly trendy, but is very clean and friendly. It is close to the seafront and amenities. The breakfast was above average and wasn't served with the usual 'economy' products. We would stay here again. more

My wife and myself stayed here on 8 and 9 September 2006. Everything good said about the hotel in other reviews is accurate. Bedroom smart and clean, breakfast great, staff inconspicuos until you need something and then requests diligently dealt with. Good location not far from city centre, but not affected by the noise etc.In a previous review a guest... more

This is a little Gem of an Hotel which provides a personal service so different from the larger expensive Hotels in Brighton. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts very good and the welcome very warm. We would definately stay here again. more

Just back from a weekend staying in the Adelaide in Brighton. While the room was adequate, clean and comfortable I was asked to pay up front on checking in. I had already left my card details with them and explained that my husband (arriving later) had planned to pay on his credit card. No go, I had to put payment... more

We are pleased to hear that you found our hotel to be clean and comfortable. It is our policy to request payment on arrival in full from our guests and we make sure that all guests are aware of this when making their booking. The bills that you noticed on our reception desk were made out for our Bridge playing...

We stayed at this lovely little B&B for only one night after going to see a band. We had room 26 which is on the 2nd floor and very spacious with a kingsize bed. My friend had room 28 on the 3rd floor which was a lot smaller but still large enough especially as she was on her own. The... more
