The hotel is in an excellent location on the beach and within a 20 minute walk to "The Lanes" and Brighton Pier. It is an older hotel so some areas look a bit worn, particularly the halls, but the rooms have been renovated and are clean and in good condition. Breakfast was excellent with good choices and service. The one... More

We stayed in a room that looked lovely,we were so pleased we had a balcony, an iron, a bath and a shower. We all headed down to the bar before going down to regency (which is a fantastic restaurant) when we arrived back to the hotel we came into the room and realised we had NO air conditioning, it was... A very poor experience. Left feeling more stressed than when we arrived. Waited over 20 minutes for a drink at the bar, completely understaffed and under trained - ended up leaving as it was proving impossible to be served - I knew the bar better than the guy working behind it by the time we left. Couldn't open windows in... More

One of the worst hotels I've been! Never a 4 star, not even a 3 star. Old and dirty carpets, wallpaper falling from the wall, disgusting eighties furniture. You just want to get out of there! The bathrooms are creeping! They have private parking but charg 18 Pounds a day. The very few good points: Carlota at the reception. Great... More

Stayed for one night in July, weather has been hotter than normal but for a hotel of this size & price it's shocking that they have no air conditioning!! My twin room had a shared terrace with dozens of other rooms opening out to it. Sadly this meant I couldn't leave the door open safely. As such I was left... More

A recent stay at this hotel was some what alarming to say the least. Hotel looks tired and room small, thankfully we got a special offer as would not want to pay the asking price. Staff on arrival during the day very pleasant and helpfull. Could do with up dating the ironing facilities. Our first night we were awaken by... More

Teresa S, I would like to thank you for your recent online review. Myself and the team would like to thank you for your co-operation during the fire evacuations that we undertook earlier this week. Upon the sounders being activated I was delighted to read that the team undertook the evacuation procedure to ensure that guests remained safe until the... More
