Stayed during heatwave at the end of June 09. The window in the room was screwed shut so we couldn't open it for a breeze, so we asked for a fan. Staff at least did provide one but it was a small deskfan, which had to be placed at the far end nr the only plug socket. So we had... more

Myself and six colleagues were booked into this hotel for a business trip. Upon arrival we we told that they did not have six rooms due to the renovation work currently taking place. The reception staff reluctantly agreed to move some of us to another hotel down the road. They then changed their minds, told us they did have rooms... more

this truly was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. my room had a magnificent view of a load of airconditioning units and other room windows. and since my sircon unit didnt work, i coulnt sleep with the window closed due to the heat, and with it open because of the noise. the room was dirty and never hoovered... more

Great location right by the Brighton pier however reception not helpful and a little abrupt. Rooms very small and no curtains on top windows. The executive room you would think to be much better. more

Having read some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive when I booked accommodation (our usual hotel was fully booked). However, we got a good weekend deal and I kinew the location was good. The hotel is undergoing renovation and, from the website, I knew there would be scaffolding. Plus factors were: a) the size of the room for... more

Staff were rude, room was terribly dirty, tv didn't work, double was 2 singles pushed together, noisy, blankets scratchy. Quite frankly one night was too much. more

My friend held her wedding here & that is why we chose this hotel. I read the bad reviews, but decided to make my own mind up. The staff were unhelpful & in need of training when it came to customer service. Our room was small, dark, hot, unclean & noisey. My initial thought was it was well located, across... more

Rooms were fine i admit they could do with a lick of paint but and the shower could have done with re grouting. But towles... more

When I originally arrived to check-in at the hotel, I was advised that there were no rooms available, despite the fact that my company had pre-paid for my room. After 10 minutes of fumbling, the receptionist produced a key and advised me I would be in the basement. Upon opening the door, I was greeted by a stained and frayed... more

Other than being centrally located I could not really find a good reason to re-visit the hotel and will definitely not recommend to anyone. I have read the negative reviews and despite all the remarks I tried to think positive. I must say there are some efforts made but on the whole I felt it is not enough. Prior to... more
