Love this place, our third trip and again superb..Derek and Gary tick all the boxes and more with apparent ease. From the moment you walk in to the minute you leave, superb care. Breakfast is always excellent, everywhere is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. You won't want to stay anywhere else.. Especially as location is so central you... More

A friend and I had a girly week end away with our 11 year old daughters, staying at The Cavalaire. Derek and Garry were charming hosts and the girls were delighted with their yummy pancakes at breakfast time. The B and B is well-located for restaurants, shops, the pier and the station. The rooms are very well-presented and clean; ours... More

Stayed here 3 nights ago for one night as a little break for our anniversary. The greeting from Derek and Garry was friendly and welcoming. The location is great, within walking distance of the seafront, the pavilion, and main town shops and the lanes. We stayed in room 3 which was sumptuous with a four poster bed and huge bsthroom... We stayed here for our 9th wedding anniversary on 18th Feb and Derek and Garry both made us feel very welcome. A really sumptuous and lovely property in a great location. We've stayed in lots of hotels / B&B's but this was by far the best of the best. Can't wait to go back. Thanks a million guys xx

This hotel definitely deserves its excellent trip advisor rating! Me and my girlfriend stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend and Derek and his staff made this an amazing experience - especially when we secretly put my girlfriends roses I got her in the bedroom secretly when we were enjoying the amazing breakfast they provide. The rooms are very cosy and... More

Derek and Garry were excellent hosts. Gave good restaurant recommendations. Wonderful breakfasts in the mornings and the room was clean and pleasant. Kettle for tea and coffee and free bottles of water a thoughtful touch. Great location as well for walking to the seaside and the Lanes. Not many negatives. Wifi was choppy in the room. Shower room was a... More

Wonderful welcome at the Cavalaire despite rather my rather late arrival, luggage lugged, refreshments rolled out and very warm and cosy all round. The decor was delicious as was the breakfast, no greasy spoons here! Coffee well above usual hotel standard. Room was lavishly equipped with TV, radio, iron and ironing board, fridge and of course a big bed, very... More

We stayed at the cavalaire for my wife's birthday at the end of Jan - selected on the basis of cool places and trip advisor reviews. I must say that we absolutely loved it - right from booking Derek and Garry were only too happy to do everything possible to accommodate, even when my wife was poorly on the morning... More

We chose the Cavalaire based on other reviews and certainly made the right choice. Exceptionally welcoming (a warm fire on to greet us). Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was relaxing - lots of choice; cooked, presented and served with care and attention. We would not hesitate in recommending a stay here.
