Stayed here for one night, August bank holiday. I booked through Booking.com and booked two standard double rooms Inc breakfast for £99 each room. The rooms were beautiful, as was the rest of the hotel, the staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious, the beds were enormous and very comfortable, furnishings elegant, we were very happy with our stay.... My husband and I have just returned from a three night break at The Grand Hotel in Brighton. What a beautiful interior! I cannot think of a single negative comment; well, maybe one ... We couldn't understand why all the fish dishes at breakfast, we're not included in the B&B rate. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite; the location... More

We booked up as a family of 3 and got a very good price online. On arrival at the hotel the staff were very friendly and the hotel reception area was welcoming. When we went in our room it wasn't how I imagined it to be, more fawlty towers then the grand, but i wasn't going to let this ruin... More

We had an over night stay - I have stayed here many times for many events and I really like it. The public areas are grand and ornate - very efficient check and friendly too. I had a very good room rate via Expedia - the room was large - the bed very comfortable and the usual fabulous view of... More

The hotel looks a little shabby from the outside, and looked as though it needed a bit of a re-paint yet when entering the hotel it was very nice to be greeted by the gentleman on the door who was helpful. The hotel was extremely busy and we needed to wait a while before we could get into our rooms... More

A combination of a very misleading price reduction by laterooms and being given a room like a sauna with the window screwed shut made this a totally unsatisfactory stay. It was supposedly a £299 a night room that was inferior to a Premier Inn room and although it was one of the not so warm August nights I lay awake... More

I booked a nights stay at this hotel on Expedia for £99 which I thought was a reasonable price for a hotel over the bank holiday week, right on the sea front. The hotel from the outside is quite dated and could do with a revamp in my opinion. The inside was a lot nicer and clean. The staff were... More

The hotel exuded the feel of grandeur we had expected; surprised it now calls itself a boutique hotel. The inland room we stayed in was of a high standard and excellent value for money. Service was courteous, efficient and helpful; the concierge service was outstanding. Breakfast was very good for buffet style[but no toast offered at table]. The Grand afternoon... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a hen weekend, it was perfect for this as our chosen bars and clubs were only a 5-10 min walk away. Great service upon arrival, valet parking, luggage bought to rooms etc, as to be expected for the price of rooms though! The room was nice, lovely shower with big fluffy towels... More
