Cold or lukewarm shower despite 2 polite requests for someone to take a look. No breakfast, the continental alternative had no cheese or meat one day, no bread another, no catering staff around to ask for refills. Prepacked muffins. Every floorboard creaked. Situated on a busy road and in front of a nightclub, but with no double-glazing to keep the... More

I booked this hotel in early march as a part of a big group attending a 5 days conference in Brighton. The hotel was the designated hotel for the attendees on a first come first served basis. As I was only going to attend the first 2 days of the conference I wanted to be sure that I have a... More

Myself and my husband decided that we needed a couple of nights after our wedding to relax before going abroad for our honeymoon. Brighton the perfect place for good shopping, good food and good night life. We booked this deal £99 through livingsocial.com this included a 3 course dinner for 2, a room and breakfast! NONE of which we got!... More

Honestly after reading some of the other reviews I was frankly, terrified but I rather enjoyed my one night in The Royal. The room was nice and clean. It had an enormous window which overlooked the square below. The bed was big and soft and I slept like a baby. There were no towels in our bathroom and surprisingly no... More

I stayed for four nights at what is now called a Radisson Blu Hotel. The hotel is directly next to the bus station from Heathrow airport and Victoria Station, so it is inexpensive to get there for arrivals coming in at the airport and anywhere in London. The outside of hotel is pure Royal York Brighton, but inside is all... More

I stayed here via KGB deal for two nights in October last year and was not disappointed. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, who checked me in quickly and efficiently. I requested an upgrade breakfast for one which was no problem at all. I was pleasantly surprised by my room which was clean, warm, roomy, with... More

Room was fine. Reasonable standard of decor and cleanliness. Really noisy location so no good nights sleep. No service at breakfast at all, just a coffee machine, some bread, muffins, cornflakes and oats with no ability to make them into porridge. Would have been fine had we paid a much lower price. More

I have just come back from a one night stay at the Royal York in Brighton, what a mistake!!! We arrived at check in time to be told the room wasn't ready as the linen wasn't back from the cleaners but it would be back any minute. FIVE HOURS later and after many complaints and talks with the manager who... More
