First the good points. We were met very warmly by all the staff at Kempfield House, the location was very central and the breakfast was very good as well. However, in no particular order, are the bad points. 1) Very noisy particularly from other guests due to poor sound proofing. 2) Bathroom ceiling peeling away. 3) Bathroom plumbing very bad.... More

Having seen the other reviewers use words like "Faultless" and "Hidden Gem" I am wondering if I stayed in the same hotel! we booked a "standard" double, I would seriously advise you to go for the "superior" options, "standard was for me very much below standard!. First of all I don't find that being welcomed by someone sitting at a... More

This is a lovely B&B that exceeded all expectations. Staff were welcoming on arrival, and the room was clean and quirky, with a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates. Great location just minutes from the sea front, it is a perfect base for exploring Brighton. Would stay again and highly recommend.

I would definitely return here, its such a nice place. We arrived on Friday to a very warm welcome, our room was the 'Regency' room, with 4 poster bed (very comfy), large widescreen, very good selection of tea and coffee making facilities and soft drinks. A complimentary bottle of wine and glasses. I also requested some flowers and a card... More

Not a lot to fault. Comfy bed, single room small but OK for a short stay. Staff were efficient and anxious to please, the service was very good. Hotel clean, well thought out ,modern and well maintained. Excellent breakfast. Good location for beach, pier, Dome and The Lanes. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Just back from a very cold Brighton. Staying in kempfield for the first time that I've been to Brighton for the weekend. This place was very easy to find, and once inside we was welcomed by, who I can only think of was the owner. Such a nice guy. The entrance hall, stunning decor. Staying in The Albion room walked...
