Stayed here for 3 nights. The price was good, especially when booked in advance. Room is basic. Not very spacious. Quite dark too. One of the lifts does not go all the way up. Noisy on weekends. Plus side it is close to the Seafront, Mall and Lanes (shopping area) with loads of food options nearby. Would stay again.

Facilities were basic, but in working order. We were warned of possible noise disturbance from the street, but it was surprisingly quiet at night. Fairly cheap and cheerful, but ideally located for the whole of Brighton. Lovely bed.

Have been to this hotel before and returned last week (11-16/8/14) for a 5 night stay because of its very convenient position to train station, seafront, pier and all other attractions. 10 minutes from train station, slight incline when returning to station. Room was clean and very comfy, no problems with fittings. Agree that room can get a bit hot... More

For my hen weekend we stayed at this travel lodge, the location is absolutely perfect, everything we needed was in a short walking distance so no need for cabs. It is next door to a big club so not sure how i'd feel about that if i'd been on a family trip but for us it was perfect. Staff were... More

Talk about misleading. Our 'newly refurbished room' had clearly been missed off the list. Tiny room, dirty bathroom, skirting coming away from the wall. Very very hot and sweaty with no air con (but were told in the morning that we could have had a fan! ) all for the bargain price of £149 for one night. Should have gone... More

There isn't anywhere to stop and unload your gear but we managed to stop in front of a roller door around the corner. My wife wheeled our gear in and was told the only parking was GBP 25 at the end of the side street. She took our gear up to the room and then again quizzed the older man... More

We stayed here from 10th-16th August 2014. First impressions were 'oh dear, what have we done'. The reception area was very basic and dated but the staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. We asked for a room on high floor as advised by other reviewers and asked for a fan. Both were given with no problems. We were in... More

Booked two rooms for two nights for myself, my husband and two daughters, which was £550. After traveling 3 hours to get there we were greeted with a dirty, tiny room with the shower hanging off the wall. We did complain and the staff moved us to another room equally as dirty, stank of stale smoke and had discusting stains... More

Having read some of the reviews on here who describe this hotel as 'excellent and great hotel' I'm not sure if they were staying in the same place as us. Our honest and objective view as a mid forties couple staying here midweek to attend a wedding, is as follows: 1. Parking NCP parking at a rate of £18.50 a... More

A tired looking and feeling Travelodge which is ideally situated near to all the attractions Brighton has to offer. Easy 10 minute walk from the station. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. A good bed for the night but not a place to hang around in. Noisy and busy club next door which is a problem when it... More
