The bed was too soft with no support at all! The extractor fan in the bathroom was very loud and you couldn't turn it off. Both my husband and I got no sleep at all and we would definately not recommend this hotel to anyone. more

I stayed here with 15 friends for my best friend and my 21st birthdays, it sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen, but the staff made sure all our rooms were together and we where on the same floor as various other groups to keep from disturbing quieter parties. They also dealt with all of us managing to lock our... more

At first glance the room looked OK, but after looking further, the window had greasy finger prints, the floor had crisps on it, and the paintwork was in a poor condition. The shower room was clean, but the extractor fan ran continuously 24 hours a day, and despite being reported twice was not fixed. The position of the shower head... more

I stayed here for one night on a Sunday as part of my birthday weekend celebrations. I paid £29 for the room and though this was very good value. It didn’t take long to check in and I was given a room on the 7th floor. Room was very good for the price paid with it being very clean and... more

Not bad for a Travelodge, best thing is great location, however as there was the Labour Party Conference the weekend we stayed, they put the price up to £129 a night, defiantly not worth it, but it was the only hotel we could get at last minute so had no choice. Room was comfortable, pretty standard for a Travelodge. No... more

This is a very central hotel so do expect a lot of noise ( even 7 floors up)!! Excellent location but is called 'Chav Street' so may need to explore a little further. Staff at Reception very lovely & friendly. Rooms ok, little bit grubby with marks on the wall ( and we think blood ( yuk!!!) Shower useless and... more

We stayed for one night in late August; it was a very convenient place to stay, situated right near The Lanes and the front. It IS near lots of clubs but we were not disturbed at all by the noise (stayed on a Thursday night). The room was clean and functional, nice shower and it catered to our needs. There... more

Simply put, this is by far the best Travelodge I have ever experienced (and I have stayed at quite a few) and is additionally better than several four star hotels. For the sale rate of £9 a night we received a huge room, complete with a fully equipped bathroom and a sea view, however one would not have been disappointed... more

We had such an enjoyable stay and hope to return again next year. All the staff were so so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was cleaned spotlessly every day, clean fresh towels and sheets. The food was very nice. Lots of choice for breakfast especially. Car Park tip ... if you are staying for more... more
