Excellent value for central Brighton over a bank holiday weekend. Top marks for friendly and efficient staff, decoration and refurbishment and super-comfortable bed and pillows. My top-floor room was smaller than in some Travelodges, with a low ceiling, small window and large wardrobe making it slightly claustrophobic. Not a room to spend a lot of waking time in, but fine... Stayed for 2 nights for a short break as first visit to Brighton. The hotel is an ideal place for shops, bars and the sea front. There is a whetherspoons at the side of the hotel so had breakfast there each morning, £2.99 each. Only fault with the rooms was no air con, so very stuffy but we did get... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Brighton Seafront Travelodge for three nights over the bank holiday weekend. . I was a bit concerned as there were mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. I didn't need to worry, we arrived early 2 hours before check in. The reception staff were great and stored our luggage, lap top and goodies that we had... More

Very comfortable as most Travelodges are for the (not-always-as-cheap-as-the-publicity-leads-you-to-believe) price - and unusually, there's a bar in this one to greet you in reception, at very competitive prices! This was a one-night stay, very quiet considering the central location. But compared to a recent stay in west London at Travelodge Ealing, this place felt a little more down at heel.... More

My husband and I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend as a get away break for my birthday. Compared to other hotels it was considerably cheaper than most I now see why, The only area in the whole place that seemed to be clean is the lobby! The whole place is in need of a deep clean and decor... More

I sometimes wonder if the people that run Travelodge ever stay at their hotels or at their main competition Premier Inn. If they did I'm sure for not much money they could do a lot to make things a lot better for their guests. In the bathrooms the towel rail is way over at the side of the toilet no... More

I stayed here with my partner thinking it would be a safe, clean and reliable hotel for our stay in Brighton , however the hotel was disgraceful the hotel was very dirty all round with stains covering the majority of all the carpets. The room was even worse , the kettle was dirty and old with all of the wires... More

Had another great stay at Brighton see front again and I'll always go back during my stays in Brighton. The staff are so professional and helpful and its ideally located. I slept like a baby every night and came back to a clean and tidy room each evening. I will be back again and recommend it greatly.

I'll make it VERY plain before going further - I stayed here during the week. Checked in Monday evening and left for work Friday morning. From what I can gather this is Brighton Party Central at weekends......and subtle damage to the internal décor and rooms shows this. Nothing to whine about, just be aware of. The staff are like in... Cheap and exactly what was needed. Room clean and basic but staff very helpful and attentive, making any stay enjoyable. Well placed a direct 15 min walk downhill from train station. Well placed for lanes and Brighton life.
