This was awful........very tired and dated. The mattress on the bed had absolutely no support whatsoever just the same as the pillows!! I went to reception to ask the night staff for extra pillows to be told not possible as they only issue 3 per room!! When I complained in the morning I was told that I wasn't the first... More

We stayed here on a Saturday night in October 2012. I have to admit I am not a fan of Travelodge in general but this was probably better than most. We had a comfortable double room on the 8th floor which had a great view of the sea. The location is pretty hard to beat, being so close to the... More

Stayed here for two nights as we were going to see plan b live and it was right next door to the hotel.. handy! Ive stayed here plenty of times and i will stay again. The hotel is near everything the pier 5 mins away.. same for the shopping centre, the sea lie centre and countless amount of food places!!... More

This travel lodge is really poor. Although the rooms were clean (sheets etc) the carpets were stained, the lino in the bathroom was dirty and peeling. The toilet in the communal area was disgusting. The mattress was the worse Ive ever slept on..lumpy and bumpy. Although this is a `budget` hotel it still cost £72 a night (£10 for an... More

Hotel is in a great location but is badly in need of a facelift externally. Looks very rundown but internally is fine. Reception staff were very pleasant when we checked in. Didn't have any food in the hotel but the menu looked appealing enough and reasonably priced. Room had all that was required. Would have no hesitation in staying again.

I felt I had to put a review of this place on as I read a few appalling reviews on here so wanted to add a bit of balance. I should start by saying that I paid a ridiculously low sum for my booking during the Travelodge sale - £19 for a family room sleeping four! In the School Easter... More

I stayed in this Travelodge for two nights while attending a conference at the Brighton Dome. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the station and a few minutes from the seafront. I paid £56 a night which was cheap compared to other hotels in Brighton. Check in was quick, but the lobby looked shabby. The lift had seem better... More

Stayed for one night in Dec 2012 and paid £90 for the room. I would never stay here again! I could understand if it was £30 a night. Negatives: Dark, dingey and small room Looks well used and abused, definitely in need of a refurb Fight going on in reception with police present one night Uncomfortble pillows Positives: Good location... The hotel felt dirty and unkept. The rooms were basic and felt unclean too. Beds were awfully uncomfortable. Worst Budget Hotel ever stayed in give me an Ibis or Premier Inn any day. Breakfast was not worth the money. The only plus was the location Maybe fine for a group of girls or boys on a clubbing weekend

We have stayed at West St Travelodge on a number of occassions and have always found it very clean and of a generally good standard. On the last visit in October we did suffer from the Salsa Dancing which continued up to 3.a.m.but I understand this has now ceased. We complained and were quickly moved to rooms of our choices,...
