We stayed Sunday to Wednesday last week and were pretty impressed. Room was clean, bed very comfy and we had all the basics (although a bath would have been great - apparently they only have baths in the family rooms). The room was a bit small but thats really my only complaint. The staff were very friendly and helpful, location... more

This is the first Travelodge takeover and refurb I've stayed in and you can tell they spent the £1.9 million well. Not to the same level as the new Travelodge I stayed in at Euston the day before but definitely better than the standard you often get. Seen most noticeably in the standard shower tray shower they have in the... more

Like a previous person I also tried to book a room with travelodge and was unable to complete the booking. Again not due to lack of funds. In fact at least 2 payments were authorised by credit cards and over £1800 were taken fom mine and my husbands bank accounts , as the website instructed us to try again, which... more

Stayed here for two nights last December. Hotel is situated within easy walking distance of City centre for shopping and is within a minute of the sea front. However it is is also very close to nightclubs. We were not there for the nightlife, just shopping and sightseeing. On arrival, found the reception welcoming and much better than many other... more

For £29 a night (excluding breakfast), you really can't go wrong for a night in Brighton. We booked three months in advance and got a great deal. The room had a sea view - somewhat limited admittedly, but for less than thirty quid, what can you expect? And besides, I wasn't there to look out of the window. Check in... more

Brighton Seafront Travelodge is a basic place, but a good location. Room small and no frills and could have been cleaner. When we asked for a quiet room, as we'd seen a 'lad's night out' group booking in, we were assured that we'd been put on 'the quiet floor' a long way away from any group. The £7.50 breakfast is... more

We stayed for a Saturday night in March (booking a single night anywhere at a weekend in Brighton is a nightmare so this was a real find) and it was great. We booked in and the accommodation is precisely what you would expect from Travelodge. We even had a sea view - albeit over the Brighton Centre roof! The room... more
