Stayed here at beginning of April. The hotel is conveniently situated. Arrived by train and it was a short distance downhill to the hotel. On arrival the reception desk staff were welcoming and helpful. Stayed on the 8th floor, could see the sea and was not disturbed by any noise from outside. However, was disappointed with the room, both in... More

Stayed here Bank Holiday Monday so the hotel didn't appear to be very busy at all.The location of the hotel is great as its close to all the amenities but the outside of the hotel looked extremely run down. The room was very small and did lack personal touches like biscuits with the hot drinks & no bath mat or... More

Under the bed the carpet was full of fluff, hair grips and pieces of tissue! The window looked like it had been cleaned with a pint of stale cream! Travelodge is the "Industrial" of hotels that often try and compensate by boasting about their price but they are often quite expensive!

Paid £105 for a Saturday nights stay. Whilst the location was okay the hotel room was shocking. It was unclean, dirty marks everywhere, sick on the outside of the toilet bowl, dried bogies on the shower curtain and pubic hair everywhere! Rank! To top it off when we complained in the morning the manageress was rude and whilst did refund... More

Stayed here for an overnight stay. The room we were given was very grubby and could have done with a good hoovering and dusting around the skirting boards. The shower area had what looked like hair conditioner ( I hope!) Still on the tiles so obviously hadn't been cleaned too well. The flex on the kettle was split despite having... More

A group of ten of us stayed here over Easter weekend for a Hen do! The hotel is right on the main road, only a five minute walk from the train station! It really is in the perfect location, plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep! Beach is seconds away and the pier is not much farther. Rooms were... More

Fresh new look? I don't think so. Paid £220 for 2nights for a double room. Run down! Bed extremely uncomfortable.Worst night's sleep in years! Shower a disgrace. Flickering lights. Creaky bed. Faulty heater. Noisy neighbours. Dirty.

A disappointing experience given the fantastic location of the hotel. The hotel is in general poorly maintained, most things work but are of poor quality. The staff I experienced did what was required, but, appeared disengaged.

We stayed at the Brighton seafront Travelodge in order to end a journey to go to the conference centre - Brighton seafront Travelodge is what it is, I suppose, and it's everything you'd expect from a Travelodge - but be warned - there is a lot of noise!

Booked a three night stay, staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. My only complaint was on my last night various doors were being slammed by other people staying at the hotel during the night and my room was not cleaned the night before we were due to depart. All in all, you get what you pay for.
