This has been the most unhelpful place I've ever been in touch with. I booked a place for one night through last minute.com and, when I fell seriously ill the day beforehand, I asked whether it was possible to switch my booking to another weekend. When we called them, they said to take it up with last minute.com, saying it... More

Dear Sir, Please accept my empathy with the sudden serious illness that you suffered the day before your check in, and in response to your review, written the following day, please accept my apologies for any confusion, on my part, as to who you are but I do not recall speaking to you with regards to the cancellation of your... There are so many wonderful and friendly b&bs in Brighton, this is not one. The owners are unhelpful to the extreme and more concerned with making money than offering a descent service. We booked a room here and the day before we were to set to stay my boyfriend became extremely sick ( we had to visit the hospital he... More

Thank you for your review. I am disappointed that you feel you were dealt with rudely or unhelpfully. I recall discussing with you that If the booking agents could resell the room, we would be happy to relocate your booking to another weekend in low season, however, we are still very busy at weekends and rooms booked, as in this... this break was very last minute and on a budget, i didn't really pay too much attention to the facilities it offered, and just thought i won't get too much for this price, i was wrong! i booked a single room, on arrival i was greeted by lini with a smile, he checked me in, and carried my small trolley... I came to this hotel with my girlfriend for a weekend away. The price was unchallenged and very reasonable. The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfy and the shower is great to. The location is brilliant and for those who want to be close to the clubs among all the attractions in Brighton I would recommend it to... More

The good Breakfast, which is in the cafe down the road, was very nice. On the day of checkout we were allowed to leave our bags and pick them up a few hours later. The not good Firstly was the noise. Noise travelled through the walls and ceiling. I was woken up both mornings (around 7-7.30am)by noise, which was not... More

We came to Brighton from the States, by way of London with the purpose of visiting family for a mid-week 2 night stay. Lini greeted us warmly and patiently helped us sort out our tricky American payment card. We were pleasantly surprised by how close to the sea the Beach Pad was. I felt the pictures may not do justice... More

Treated myself and my partner to a short (5 night) break in Brighton at the Beach Pad for my 30th. Great staff and a very nice little B&B, assistant Manager Lini (who seemed to do everything on her own) was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor, with steep stairs, and smallish but fine for... More

The Beach Pad is in a desirable location, close the the pier and a short walk to the town. Although the housekeeper was friendly and room appeared satisfactory on first glance. On closer inspection the lamp was broken, the curtain was dirty from what looked like spilt drink. The shower was broken meaning it fell out of the wall holder... More

My partner and I stayed at The Beach Pad for three nights the during Brighton Pride weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will be returning next year! We found the hotel's assistant manager, Lini, extremely helpful and friendly. We checked in at a time which was later than the original estimated time and were greeted by Lini. The parking... More

Close to the attractions, and a comfortable stay. The room was filthy however, full of thick dust. Parking is a major problem; narrow street parking and costs £10 a day. Very noisy. I can't express enough how dusty this place was, allergy sufferers beware.
