Modern rooms although a little small. However, clean and with everything you need for a short stay in the city. Close to the main shops and about a 5 minute walk to the Lanes and the sea front. I would recommend staying at the Churchill if you are after a good value stay in Brighton.

6 of us booked 3 rooms. Very clean and well presented rooms. Excellent idea about the keys as reception isn't staffed on arrival. Parked in the regency car park. £16 for 24 hours ( tip, facing away from the sea head to the far right hand corner and walk past the regency arms pub, hotel is 60 yards on the... More

This was our second stay at the Churchill, we booked it again as we were pleased with it on our last visit. They now text when your room is ready and give you codes so that you are able to access your room if you arrive when reception isn`t manned, which seems a very good idea. In fact Ashley was... More

Great Place, Near to everything Modern and Clean. Could not fault this Hotel for the money. Very near to Sea Front and attractions Beds very comfortable and quiet. You need codes to enter the hotel after 6.00. Provides tea and coffee in the room with milk and other FREE refreshments which is a small miracle alone.

After reading other reviews near to my arrival date was a little apprehensive. Easily found and the instructions to self checkin a breeze. I agree regarding the main stairs very much a trip hazard but it is an old house. Room exceptionally clean and compact. Bed comfortable but had a screw sticking out on the window side. Bathroom nice and... More

7 of us - age ranges 20 to 70 stayed one night here on Saturday. Great location - easy access to all we wanted to see and do over the 2 days. Arrived early and all 4 rooms were ready for us which was a great bonus. Staff helpful and friendly. Received texts from them prior to arrival and on... More

A handy place to stay within easy reach of the seafront, and in a quiet square. They sent codes to my mobile to get in and obtain keys from a numbered box if there is no-one there, but I didn't need them. Ashley helpfully suggested where to get breakfast- the Café Royale- which has a huge choice and was good... More

Arrived to keypad entry and access to room key. This was a bit of a surprise, but not an issue. Small (not a problem) room at the top (3rd floor) of a narrow winding staircase. The room was clean and pleasant, and certainly was acceptable, although I had to prop the door open to use the mirror on the landing,... More

Stayed at the Churchill overnight to attend a Birthday celebration in Brighton. Never been to an 'unmanned reception' hotel before, so a first for us. Phoned No. on the door on arrival and instructions given. Room was spacious and clean. Fridge with complimentary water, coke, 2beers and small wine. We were advised that the fridge was noisy at night and... More

Booked this room last minute so had a late deal of £49 for an executive double. I booked it due to reasonable reviews and my husband and I wanted somewhere nice just to lay our heads after dinner in Brighton and not too pricey! I did read a few poor reviews saying it was dirty and tired, so was a... More
