So after taking a chance and just randomly booking this hotel on a whim, I was very much rewarded when we walked in and found out that we had been upgraded from a Tiny Arty Seaview room to a bigger room (medium sea view). I've never been upgraded before, so imagine my delight when we walked into room number 5... More

We booked a room with a small balcony at front of hotel. Interesting décor throughout hotel. Room itself was OK, bathroom a little old-fashioned and towels a bit old. Balcony was great and very little noise from outside hotel, certainly no noise from cars along the seafront. The communal facilities were excellent - the breakfast room and the bar. The... More

Stayed here for 2 nights before Easter and couldn't be more happy with my experience. I stayed in a small double room which was decorated beautifully, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great, it was at the back of the hotel so very quiet. Breakfast was incredible all cooked to order in a lovely bright room. I will... More

stayed here last year with a female friend, and got double bed, was expecting two singles. the room was cramped, it was colourful, staff young, so may didn't really understand life from a older person point of view. window was small ,so it was hot in the room. however would stay again if got bigger room

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was outstanding, different to other b&bs. The room was funky and had nice little touches. The bath was amazing! The only downside was there was no hot water on some occasions, had to have a very cold shower! Would recommend to anyone.

Myself and a group of friends have just spent the most amazing weekend at Artist Residence in Brighton. From the moment you walk in the door it feels cosy, friendly yet quirky with all of the gorgeous art and furniture to admire. We were a large group of people and therefore quite noisy, all of the staff were incredibly accommodating... More

Arrived and got a great welcome from staff, very friendly. Family room lovely, not the biggest but spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Enough room for 2 adults and a littl'un comfortably. Shower room nice and again, spotlessly clean with nice toiletries and plenty of towels. Tea and coffee facilities good with chocolate available which went down well. The breakfast was... More

I found this on VisitBrighton.com and checked it out on other sites such as TripAdvisor. Word of mouth was excellent. I got a double room for a single and was amazed. This is not a cookie-cutter hotel. Bathroom was small but shower was a decent size, meticulously clean and fresh and brilliantly lit. Bed and linens were excellent. Room temperature... More
