I was lucky to get a room here via LastMinute, needed to be in Brighton for a photoshoot and there weren't many options on a Sat night...I had a brilliant stay in a fab room with a smashing view over the square and down to the Sea and (what's left of) the Pier (Room 2 btw). The staff are friendly,... More

Just got back from 2 nights at the Artist Residence. (3 girls away for a weekend break) we stayed in the basement room with a little courtyard. Compact, but cosy. The staff were charming, the breakfast was lovely, and there's a great cocktail bar too. Pleasantly surprised. Would stay there again.

Great pad to stay in with lovely rooms overlooking the square and old pier. Service superb and food good. Nicely themed and fun rooms however bathrooms a little cramped and close to the bed with shutters...not much privacy! I'm sure that not all rooms are like this. Highly recommend however.

We stayed at the Artist Residence for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. Upon arrival, the staff brought a bottle of champagne and a slate with chocolate covered strawberries to us. What a lovely start to our honeymoon. Room was small (as advised when booking) but bright, modern and very relaxing. Free wifi, water and biscuits were a nice... More

We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room described as tiny, they were right, however it was very clean and everything we needed was in the room. The view was looking out to the remains of the West Pier. The breakfast was superb and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, we were offered refills on our tea and... More

The lift still isn’t working so it is hump your baggage up and down steep narrow stairs in this tall and narrow Regency Building. Room 5 gives a good view over the square and to the ruins of the West Pier – plus the building site on the prom for some large tower due to open in 2106. The building... More

Just arrived home from our 'minimoon' in Brighton. Room 3 was small but perfect for what we wanted and... More

My husband and I had such a wonderful time staying at the AR. The room was petite! but had everything we needed and above all had an amazing view from the cute little balcony to West pier. We spent one night here as a last minute booking. We had a compact double which had plenty of room for us and a lovely power shower with a corner seat. The staff were excellent and we loved the way you could walk through to the cocktail shack. We would book here next time!
