An exceptional place to stay in a lovely location. Friendly & strikingly individual (in terms of both the rooms and the restaurant menu). Enthusiastic service. Great breakfasts and a lovely cocktail bar too - try the Tequilla Mockingbird. Underground car park directly opposite the hotel.

Loved everything about this hotel and didn't want to leave. Had a cosy and bright, small double room for one and the design was delightful. Dining was delicious and drinks from tea to grapefruit gin were perfect. A welcome bit of peace and inspiration. Will definitely book again. Arrived by train and walked everywhere with ease.

Great location and will have an amazing view once the Bright i360 is complete next summer. Our room was spacious and clean. The cocktail were great and the breakfast lovely. The staff were all very friendly ad helpful too.

The hotel was amazing. We do a couples holiday once a year and do a lot of research. What a Gem this hotel was. Perfectly located on Regency Square. Opposite the beach and the old pier. Lucy, the Manageress couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We checked in early before our rooms were ready. When we got back later,... More

Spent two nights here in August. Staff are lovely, especially Lucy who made us very welcome. Room no. 3 - tiny arty sea view with balcony. Decor is a little tired looking. Room is small but adequate. They provide ear plugs which are very much needed. Very noisy until around 2 am. Room very hot - a fan would have... More

Booked a last minute trip to Brighton last weekend. Friendly staff on arrival, the interior decor was awesome! Especially if you appreciate witty art. We stayed in a room downstairs that also has a snug in the room which was really cool, we had a small terrace too but it needed cleaning and cutlery fell through the decking above. The... More

I took my husband here for a few days midweek for a surprise bday treat and we had the best time. The room was stunning with a lovely sea view, it was great having a little balcony too. The interiors in the entire hotel is right up my street. We had tasty drinks at the cocktail shack and played ping... More

We loved the modern, fun decor and genuine welcome at this very friendly hotel. From arriving early and finding they were just personally plumping up our pillows with the vintage sounds gently flowing from the Roberts radio in the corner to leaving late when they took our bags so we could wander carefree for a few hours longer, everything was just as... Nice hotel in an excellent central location. Some reviews complain that it's noisy but that's inevitable considering it's central location. The decoration is cool and quirky. The food was fab and the little cocktail bar was great. The staff were very friendly and the kids loved the table tennis room. On the downside, one of our rooms smelt quite musty... More

So it's a funky little place but there are things that aren't quite right ... Firstly the corridors down to the basement rooms are tiny and dark and smell of sewage , it's quite claustrophobic but the room we had was funky and open and bright . The loo was very dark however and again claustrophobic . The room was... More
