A different hotel experience. All the public rooms subscribe to the Artists Residence theme - it is intriguing the way they have put old materials to new uses - whilst the bedrooms are conventional clean, simply furnished, comfortable bed. Hotel in a convenient position just a few minutes walk from the sea, and the centre of Brighton. On arrival we... More

Right on historic Regency Square, across from the seafront. Some rooms have sea views. Every room is different, and the building has quirky twists and turns and lots of charm. Very comfortable bed, and up-to-date features in bathroom. Staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is fun, with a comfortable and welcoming bar and restaurant -- but not noisy. Food... More

We had a double room with sea view. The decor is very individual throughout the hotel and inside our room there was a mural of Brighton! The view was good aside from the Brightoni360 construction which could not be helped. Our room was ready on time and we were greeted by friendly staff. The bed was quite comfortable, the room... Loved my stay here for one night mid week. I stayed in the "broom cupboard" which was larger than I'd anticipated, nice and quiet at the back of hotel and on top floor. Coffee and breakfast was delicious, hotel is interesting with quirky decor and great atmosphere, bed very comfy, soft pillows. If i'd been here with my husband we'd... More

This cocktail bar has the grooviest atmosphere out of any I have been in! The cocktails are the best ever. Max the cocktail maker is a genius.... Great charisma and a gift for mixing flavours!!!!!! The music is enough to give a good vibe without being too loud...

Just got back from staying in the tiny room with balcony. Room 3. It is what it says, tiny. Was fine for the 2 of us for a couple of nights, and sitting on the balcony with a bottle of red on a sunny afternoon was lovely. Not sure if I'd have been happier without the i360 "spoiling" the view,... More

Room small and not very clean. Staff friendly. breakfast was good 2 out of 3 mornings. Bathroom and room needs a really good clean. quirky decor but a bit more shabby than chic. Expected more for the money. Really noisy with seagulls on the roof and people walking past room door at all hours so did not sleep well.

We had a nine night stay recently and whilst we had some issues with noise in the room and confusion over the bill, they were resolved and overall we enjoyed the experience. A highlight was the meal in the restaurant. We dined out every night in Brighton, including at The Grand and can honestly say the best meal was at the... More

This is a great, friendly, trendy, clean, comfortable and quirky hotel right in the center of Brighton. It's not the cheapest hotel in Brighton but it's also definitely not the most expensive and it's well worth the extra money. Highly recommended.
