We booked a room here for 3 nights. Very impressed with the value. Fittings, linen and bathroom all clean fresh and modern. Cleaned daily. Coffee tea facilities all fine. Great access to St James St and seafront. We didn't see that it wasn't a "b&b" as such - just the "b"! - but apart from that slept well. Best room... More

Stayed here over the Christmas period, nice yet basic clean rooms, limited but friendly service. Excellent value for the price, which is one of the cheapest I've come across in Brighton for a fully ensuite room in the lovely and quiet kemp town area. Will definately be back.

After telling the owners i would arrive for a 1 night stay after 5pm, I arrived around 5.20pm to find nobody there. I rang the bell at the entrance, only to hear a phone ringing. A woman answered to which i informed her I had arrived, only to be told, there was no one there so told me there was... More

Me and my friend stayed for 7 days in this hotel and it was quite nice, expect the first day. It was easy to find, since it's like 3 minutes away from brighton beach and the next bus station. On the arrival the door was locked (we were slightly confused) so we rang the bell beside it. A woman told... More

I spent two nights at Brighton Breeze in my visit to Brighton to sort out some paperwork, so I was just looking for something cheap were I could spend the night. Since I booked it only because it was cheap I was ready to find a small room and small bathroom, so I won't complain about that. What it really... More

Rooms are in terrible condition. Hand rails fell off and floorboards were loose. Room was also an absolute mess with cigarette wrappers and shot glasses on floor. Also had tobacco on our bed! Bed covers were also stained and room smelt of smoke

This was a nice little hotel. Although it should really be called a guest house as it is very small. There is no proper reception just a cupboard at the back where you check in, there is no bar or any kind of communal area. However, the hotel does now have wifi – its moving into the modern age! It... More

The hotel did the job, and wasn't bad at £60. Had all the basic facilities we needed, shower, tv, bed, cupboard, kettle, etc. We got there at 1pm and our room wasn't ready, so the lady upgraded us to a triple room which was ready at no extra cost. The room was actually really nice with a nice balcony and... More

Although cheap for the time of year, the accommodation is very basic. We were in the front bedroom ,ground floor and the noise late at night and early mornings was overbearing. The plus side, clean room and in kemp town which is quite a cool area.

Terrible is the least of your worries. A contagion of pathogens lurking around. Orderlies living below the stairs cooking odorous delights. Noisy builders and debris galore. Mould in a box airless container called a bathroom. Views of othee buildings. Privacy to a bare minimum. Night time guests who may hitch a lift to your home too; dreaded bedbugs-await the desired...
