Very efficient booking service. I was a late night arrival but was sent all the info I needed to get in and find my room which was dorm 2 on the first floor. I stayed in a mixed bed dorm (max 4 beds only - which is great) but, being male, I felt a bit awkward for the three young... More

Stayed here for four nights in the four bedroom dorm room. Loved the vibe of the hostel and the manager, Kev, was beyond helpful. Hostel was very homely, clean and quiet. Kev was quick to rectify anything that needed attention - for example, a door to the bathroom was broken, but quickly fixed later that morning. My only complaint is... More

Friendly staff, great kitchen (open all hours) and nice rooms. We arrived late on Friday (train arrived 20 minutes later than scheduled) but Kevin was friendly and got us settled in. He showed us the kitchen etc - even asked if we had a preference for milk! We stayed in a 4 bunk room and our friends had a double... More

Clean, cheap, newly refurbished, and the staff is very friendly. If you think you can't do hostels and sleep with several other people anymore, but you still want to spend less than £50 per night on weekends, this is the right place for you: a twin room is £40 per person. They have a two night minimum policy but if... More

Two friends and I stayed here in July for 2 nights. We were given a room upgrade (bigger than what we paid for) could see the sea from the window! We checked in in the evening and had a problem with our key so we phoned the contact number and someone was with us within 10 minutes with an extra... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at start of July. Had a great experience and the manage Kevin was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable with a good living room and very conventional kitchen with 2 nice wee alcoves to dine in. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Brighton.

Found this hostel when planning a last minute trip to Brighton. It was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic…approx 20 minute walk to Brighton Pier, 1 minute walk to seafront. Dorms were spacious enough, TV room was good, kitchen was well equipped (Cornflakes, bread, milk, jam, Tea/coffee provided), bathrooms were fine, the place was kept pretty clean,... More
