This was a lovely b&b. The beds were very comfortable. The shower very clean. The room was a bit small but tastefully decorated. Breakfast in the first morning was a bit dry but the next morning it was delicious. They did take a bottle of champagne that we had brought and opened in our room away even though we only... More

What a shame! In some ways this hotel has clearly had so much thought put into it. Yet so much has been over-looked. The decor is elegant and the style decadent, but look out of the windows and your heart sinks. It feels grimy and claustrophobic. Open your windows and it gets even worse. We went to the hotel for a... More

This was a late booking, and I chose it simply because it was the best value (i.e. cheapest) that met my location & time requirements. I was simply after somewhere 'acceptable' to stay, but the Kemp townhouse totally exceeded my expectations. The room was very small - the 'cosy single', but it was immaculate and had a luxury feel. Breakfast... More

Had a lovely overnight stay here while away on business. Was on the top floor which was quite a climb so request a lower floor if you are mobility impaired. Staff were helpful and friendly, everything nice and clean, modern rooms with small finishing touches like a drop of port and two glasses for a nightcap, yoghurts in glass jars... More

What a nice little place this is, it's a town house that has been converted. Stayed for one night in a twin room, booked late and was the only one left but was not disappointed in the quality of the bed room, linen and sleep quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel, in fact it was... More

Everything has been thought of. Lots of high quality unexpected extras, lovely staff, DELICIOUS breakfast, and just off the seafront and an easy walk to the Lanes, Pier, Pavilion etc. We had the small double room...fine for us, but VERY compact, and anyone overweight would struggle to be comfortable, especially in the tiny en suite wet room/toilet. Parking could be... More

The only five star guesthouse in Brighton, and it definitely looks the part! Situated in a less than luxurious-looking street, this place is still a real gem. Our room was very comfortable, and it's obvious that this place has been decorated with an eye for style and detail, the overall impression is very polished. There are little extra touches all... Very well positioned in a quieter part of Brighton, but only 5 minutes walk to the pier. We stayed in a beautiful room at the top of the house. Can't comment on the food because we didn't try it, but I would certainly stay here again.

This is a lovely, charming townhouse in a fantastic location, with lots of luxury touches and a simply amazing breakfast. If you can temper your expectations about the size of the space, you'll enjoy your visit here. For us, the location was ideal. The townhouse is a short walk from the Pier and the Lanes, but is just enough off... More
