Room 2 is small and near the back but it's beautiful designed. The wet room is exactly that and yes the place gets wet but that's par for the course. Every little thing has been thought of,robes, a wrap, hairdryer, tea and ground coffee, a decanter of port, bottles of water, large fluffy towels, a comfortable bed, large television, digital radio... We enjoyed our visit to the hotel but the only small thing that bugged me was ,that because it was an Amazon Deal we ended up with a very small room. Had i been able to choose i would have chosen one of the larger rooms {with a view} and paid extra for it. None the less the room was... More

First impressions were disappointing – a shabby street full of narrow townhouses, then an anonymous front door at the Kemp Townhouse led into a dingy hallway with scuffed paintwork. We had arrived early so dropped off our bags before returning later, full of apprehension at what our room would be like. We had booked a “spacious Grand Double” room but... More

Dear Polomarco, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations on this occasion. Atlingworth street like many other streets locally is maintained and cleaned daily by the Brighton and Hove council, but apologies if you thought otherwise. We have recently just finished the complete renovation of our front building, including the front... More

I have just returned from a night in this guesthouse, what a treat! I stayed in room 301on the top floor. A large room with four poster bed and enourmous bathtub in the corner of the room. The room is large, beautifully decorated and very well appointed. The bed is super-king size and mattress suportive. As this is a guesthouse... More

A triumph of style over substance. I know estate agents who would blush at describing some of these rooms as doubles. Everything is beautifully done, design wise, but the building is fundamentally unsuited to be a hotel, certainly for anyone of a normal width. Every time the front door closes, the whole place rattles. When the staff start cooking breakfast... More

Everything you would want when staying in Brighton. Great location, beautifully decorated rooms and a great breakfast. A really cool place to stay with friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely be back here soon.

I booked a single room for 13th-15th March 2015 and I am very happy about my stay. Although the room is small, it provides everything you need throughout. The hand wash, shampoo are of good quality and the facilities are very clean and tidy. The wifi is stable and reliable as well. Breakfast is hearty and good too! The accommodation locates... More

Rooms are small but spotlessly clean.Staff very helpful and friendly . My only problem was nowhere to sit for a drink with friends when we came back from our evening meal . Breakfast was top quality freshly cooked to high standard .Would recommend , but really needs an area to sit for a late nightcap as we were asked to... More

Booked in here to celebrate birthday. Friendly staff and clean room however very noisy and our room was situated by reception area. Lots of noise by inconsiderate guests returning home last night and also very loud this morning meaning no lie in for us, shame on a Sunday ! Lovely breakfast though.
