Arrived at 6pm, greeted and told where our 'superior' room was, dodgy lock on door, had to wiggle key but no major problem. Not sure what made it superior as very dated and shabby. However bedding was spotless , towels smelt nice and fresh and were clean. Tea and coffee and biscuits in room, however, I made a coffee and... More

Last few years I've stayed in many hotels in Brighton. From expensive ones to very cheap ones. The Queensbury is one of my favorite budget-hotels. It is situated just about 50 meters from the Brighton seafront, Close to the West Pier, and the future I360. With 19 rooms it isn't the biggest hotel, but you can choose from different types... More

We stayed here for a weekend break, and it was as basic as you could get. It was clean, well stocked with fresh towels and bedding, and all the furniture you need, and breakfast was a basic continental bread, cheese and ham, but everything was utterly charmless. There's no soul and no love to the place, no nice little touches... More

Clean, friendly and a great location. We had a family room sleeping 3. It was up 8 flights of stairs and a bit cramped. The wifi reception was non existent in our room and they didn't service our room the second day so came back to unmade beds and no milk for tea in the afternoon. If all you want... More

The mattress is really thin and uncomfortable, didn't sleep well at all! There was no soap to wash your hands with! The sheets and pillows smelt of what can only be described as stale sweat!! Very noisy too!

Continental breakfast difficult to chew, you can buy a £5 voucher for breakfast across the road but its actually cheaper when you get there. Location ok. Parking rubbish, don't use their recommended car-park, theres a car park right of the hotel approx. 15minute walk away but it costs £5 for 12hours.

From reading some of the reviews we was dreading our stay during Pride but were pleasantly surprised... and will be returning next year! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Check in I thought was quite late but they let us leave our bags in a locked dining room whilst we waited at the local bar (I highly recommend Medusa... More

Lets start with the pros: The hallway and breakfast room was nice.... Cons: Wet floor... Extremely loud hotel guests until 5 in the morning.. Shower and sink in the twin bedroom with only half wall to separate it!? Other hotel guests were smoking weed It smells. Bad. Like damp and dodgy food... Customer service was crap!!!!! Beds were springy and... More

A hotel / B&B not far from the seafront. It was slightly tired in places but not a bad price for somewhere central in Brighton in the summer. Our bedroom was a decent size and had an ensuite. The staff were helpful and friendly.
