The hotel exterior and entrance way is lovely. The rooms were clean and it was quiet at night. However, the rooms are very small - it made our stay uncomfortable. There wasn't even a wardrobe in the room just a couple of hangers on some coat hooks. The ensuite was also very compact, the power of shower was weak..took quite... More

Stayed one night. Location is excellent, very close to all major attractions and there is an underground car park right on the square. Quite cheap to park overnight if you arrive after 6pm. Hotel is basic and a little jaded but was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast could do with some croissants adding but there was plenty of bread/toast,... More

Me and my partner booked to stay here because it's just off the sea front, only 5 minute walk to the centre and it was the best 2 star for ratings on here... Overall our stay was pleasant. We stayed in the superior double room with ensuite which was just a basic room, nothing special but done the trick. We... More

Stayed one night with a couple of friends, we we given a room on the third floor, no lift this seemed a bit of a hike. The room was plenty large enough with toilet & shower, every thing was basic but it is a budget hotel, we skipped the continental breakfast and purchased a 'special price' voucher for a full... Arrived at 6pm, greeted and told where our 'superior' room was, dodgy lock on door, had to wiggle key but no major problem. Not sure what made it superior as very dated and shabby. However bedding was spotless , towels smelt nice and fresh and were clean. Tea and coffee and biscuits in room, however, I made a coffee and... More

Last few years I've stayed in many hotels in Brighton. From expensive ones to very cheap ones. The Queensbury is one of my favorite budget-hotels. It is situated just about 50 meters from the Brighton seafront, Close to the West Pier, and the future I360. With 19 rooms it isn't the biggest hotel, but you can choose from different types... We stayed here for a weekend break, and it was as basic as you could get. It was clean, well stocked with fresh towels and bedding, and all the furniture you need, and breakfast was a basic continental bread, cheese and ham, but everything was utterly charmless. There's no soul and no love to the place, no nice little touches... More

Clean, friendly and a great location. We had a family room sleeping 3. It was up 8 flights of stairs and a bit cramped. The wifi reception was non existent in our room and they didn't service our room the second day so came back to unmade beds and no milk for tea in the afternoon. If all you want... More

The mattress is really thin and uncomfortable, didn't sleep well at all! There was no soap to wash your hands with! The sheets and pillows smelt of what can only be described as stale sweat!! Very noisy too!
