We booked this place in Brighton with the understanding they offered WiFi in rooms as advertised on hostelworld, hostelbookers, and there own webpage, as younger backpackers we rely quite a bit on internet (staying in touch with home, booking tickets, ect.) After our first night not being able to connect to the WiFi we met up with a staff member... More

In terms of location this place is perfect, being close to the pier and all surrounding traveling needs. staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms don't have irons or ironing boards which was a HUGE let down and the showers small but that's only a small problem as everything else was fine, expect basic and realise you get what you pay... Myself and a friend have just stayed here for Pride weekend and I can't disagree more with some of the negative reviews. It was a lovely place situated perfectly for the sea front and great value for money. We had a large room at the top complimentary tea coffee and water was left for us. The room was a but... More

I didn't even get to stay in this place and it cost me £200.00!! I booked for 2 days on my booking.com account and couldn't go as I had a problem on the Friday. Unfortunately when I checked my booking account to make sure I had cancelled it there was no booking on there so I assumed that I had... More

We were a group of 12 ladies on a hen weekend with a mixture of rooms, all were bigger than expected, one twin had a double and a single and the triple had double and two singles! All were clean and beds were comfy, furniture was dated and bathroom was small but for the time we spent there we didn't... More

A price worthy B&B with nice, English speaking staff and clean and functional rooms with good standard. The breakfast was basic but as it was included in the price it was OK. The noise from the stairs and the seagulls outside was disturbing. If you're looking for a cheap, clean and well located B&B this is it.

Very nice stay. You have to bear in mind what you are paying for! For a guest house at 50 quid for a double room you can not expect wonders. The room was spacious and comfortable fully functional and clean. Good bed and pillows, a very pleasant night sleep. The staff is also very attentive and honest. Not the pretentious... More

The hotel locates right opposite to the sky wheel near the pier, so location is just fabulous. Though it has a little bit small corridors and narrow stairs, the room has enough space. The room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is quite small.

Yes this guest house is cheap but still too expensive for what you get. Really dirty carpet in hall and stairs, employees who do not speak English, rooms are tatty and have really dirty mix mash of furniture. Tiny en suite with tiny shower but is clean, bed nice and comfortable, TV had to be fixed by my husband to... More

For the price we paid (which was far less than a Travelodge, etc), this B&B was a very reasonable weekend stop-over. It would be very unfair to compare it against a much more expensive establishment, as you generally get what you pay for and we paid for a cheap B&B. The place isn't a top-notch glam hotel with matching accessories,... More
