We had just decided spend our weekend out. It was a last minute decision and we found out Old Palace Guest House. We booked room as the location is perfect and prices are amazing. We also called to ask about parking information nearby. Staff couldn't be more helpfull and attentive. Room was spotless, warm and tidy. Decoration was simple but... More

stayed on new year's eve and therefore expected it to be overpriced and slightly noisy. However, the room was quite unclean and the bathroom was shockingly small. We did not want to stay for breakfast due to the look of the guest house next door which was serving the breakfast. Walls are so thin we could hear the couple in... More

We paid £60 for Thursday night and £90 for Friday night. At the Friday night rate, this guesthouse is very overpriced. We found this to be very noisy at night time but in fairness I should add that we were there over Halloween, which seemed to drive the residents of Brighton into some kind of alcoholic frenzy. We were allocated... More

Both my friend and I are still in shock as to how we were treated at this establishment. We have travelled the world for the past 12 years for both work and pleasure and yet neither of us have ever experienced the madness and rudeness that is the 'old palace guest house'. We were adbrubtly woken by a member of... More

Well what can I say, £220 for 2 nights in this place really was really not worth the money to be honest, this place was noisy the rooms are small and was greeted with a few spiders. The bathrooms are small and the showers change temperature every 2 seconds. But mainly what ticked me off was the girl in the... More
