Dined here last night for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. From the staff to the fine quality of the meal everything was superb. One small consideration would be to either change the tables for four outside or at least cover them with a table cloth to make them fit in with the beautiful decor and high quality fittings.... Says it all really, the staff were friendly and very easy on the eye, the food was perfect. Best steak I have eaten in a long time. Desert was also amazing. I sat by the window and have a lovely view out towards the church which was delightful, had it not rained we were going to have some nibbles on... More

It's hard to describe the Wingrove House restaurant with rooms, one runs out of superlatives. My wife Janet and I visited for her birthday, what a great choice, it's such a lovely calm and peaceful place to spend time - and, luckily for us, the weather was lovely so we could make the best of the terrace for afternoon reading,... My wife and I visited the hotel on our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. There was a very friendly reception from Nick the owner. The room was very well appointed, clean and had its’ own balcony. There was good wifi and a limited mobile reception in the area. To counter this the telephone was free. There was amply parking... Taking a keen interest in the food as seen on Masterchef, one wonders just where food of this quality can be found. The views of others should be helpful, so we tried Wingrove full of anticipation and expectation of a gastronomic experience. Firstly, we did not care for paint applied to an inglenook fireplace, much preferring bricks, however weathered and... More

Our dinner and breakfast was excellent. All local produce and food presentation was immaculate. Our room was very clean comfortable and stylish. One small quibble was the over powering smell of incense in the restsurant as this interfered with tasting of the lovely food. Wholey recommend it, lovely staff and great enviroment.

It is hard to know where to start in giving Wingrove house the accolades it deserves. From our early arrival, when we parked the car in the spacious car park, let the staff know the number (so that it would not be seen as an intruder car) and that we were returning at 2.00 to check in, the complimentary coffees,... Dear Cindylou45 Thank you so much for your feedback following your recent stay at Wingrove House. This exquisite establishment (actually a top class hotel modestly masquerading as a 'restaurant with rooms') is truly exceptional. From the warmth of the welcome to the quality of the accommodation, and from the comfort of the 'public' areas to the haute cuisine served in the restaurant, everything is of the very highest calibre. I've stayed in many a 4/5* hotel... More

Dear HughScotney, Thank you so much for your feedback following your recent visit. Delighted you enjoyed your time with us and do hope we can welcome you back very soon. It's always difficult to categorise Wingrove House so it's lovely to hear you feel it compares to a 4/5 star hotel. We work very hard to make sure everyone's visit... More

Charming guest house offers a warm five star welcome and where the owners have refreshingly tried to think of everything to give their guest the best possible experiences away from the hustle and bustle of every day life to ensure a very relaxing special break. We arrived on a Friday for a long weekend and brought our bikes as we... More

Everything is just lovely... you cannot fail to be impressed with the set-up.The Manager makes you feel very special and goes to endless trouble to make sure all your wishes are catered for. The restaurant has a love atmosphere and the food is delicious.
