This is our favourite B&B of all time and we have stayed here as a couple and with family and friends. The house is not only an architectural gem but also a wonderfully relaxed and spacious family home set in beautiful countryside. You couldn't wish for more helpful and welcoming hosts than the Juliet and Christopher Hawkins. What more could... More

When I first saw the Tudor barn the photos do not do it justice. The surrounding area is picturesque and the barn itself is stunning with all the natural oak beams, Tudor touches and huge barn doors that could be opened out (you have to see it!) I booked this venue for my sisters hen weekend and I couldn't have... More

Thanks so much for that glowing feedback! So glad you enjoyed what the barn and surrounds had to offer - and always good to find the place is even better in the flesh than the pictures! And thank you for leaving everywhere so immaculate. Please come again. More

From first stepping foot through the door you could tell Milden Hall was really special. We had a hen party of 19 and the place was perfect for it. Juliet was really helpful and very laid back. The accommodation was perfect for a big group and there was lots to do on site and nearby, with a pub within a... More

So glad you loved the Tudor barn and thought it spectacular - it really is very difficult to convey the scale and atmosphere of it in photos! We loved having you. Please do come again ... More

We hired the Tudor barn for our friend's hen party and had a fantastic weekend and could not believe how brilliant the barn was; the catering equipment was great, the beds were very comfortable and the surroundings were special. Before we arrived Juliet provided us with loads of info to help arrange activities for our hen weekend, which was really... More

We stayed in the B&B part of Milden Hall for a couple of nights (not the Tudor barn). Juliet was on hand and proved to be a great host. Both her and her husband Christopher were full of useful local information and insights. We made maximum use of the bikes that are there and roamed the neighbouring lanes and villages... More

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend in this beautiful tudor barn in February for a hen do. There were 14 of us staying and it was the perfect combination of being cosy around the wood fire and spacious enough to play a competitive game of table tennis inside! The barn is a fantastic space which we used for an amazing catered... More

A family reunion over the Christmas period. Four young families and grandparents, with ages ranging from eight to eighty eight. This beautiful, large, cathedral like space, set in the quiet seclusion of the Suffolk countryside, wowed us all. It allowed us the space to mix and to do our own thing, yet we still felt all together. The barn and adjoining... More

26 of us stayed at this amazing place for 4 nights over New Year and had the most fantastic time. As we stepped into the enormous living space for the first time, we were absolutely bowled over by the beauty of it. Juliet and Christopher have done a brilliant job of restoring the Barn and providing all mod-cons, whilst retaining... More

We were a family group of 22 celebrating Christmas and a 60th birthday - the whole experience was amazing - the tudor barn and the costumes made our Christmas Eve banquet the most memorable - the woodburner and the candles made it magical. Loved it and would love to do it again.
