Nestled in beautiful Suffolk (gods own county) orchard campsite is hidden far enough away to enjoy the peace but close enough to visit beautiful Suffolk. The campsite it's self is ran by a family who are the ultimate hosts. It consists of an area with toilets and hot showers a camp shop at reasonable prices and plenty of ice cold... More

We have just come back from our annual group camping at The Orchard Campsite, and what a find! The place is in the heart of the beautiful suffolk coast, and for all the alien fans out there it is in the middle of the UK's version of Roswell. They even do alien weekends! The campsite is in a little forrest... More

We stayed for two nights. The campsite is relaxed with a nice range of spaces with different surroundings like next to water, or within trees which we were able to pick from. There are some electric hook up points I noticed but we didn't need one. The site facilities are great. The shop is particularly good. It looks like the... More

What a wonderful weekend we have had! My female friends took me to Orchard Campsite for my hen weekend. We all camped together, by the lake and I was treated to a night in a gypsy caravan. We had a campfire and bbq and spent the vening talking, cooking and having fun. The site was small enough to be special... More

We chose the Orchard Camp site as the venue for our wedding at the beginning of August (2014). Stuart, Alan and the whole team were fantastic! We thought the camp site would be the perfect place for the relaxed feel of our wedding weekend spent amongst all our friends and family... we were right! The camp site itself is brilliant.... More

we stayed at the Orchard campsite for 8 nights and were wowed on the very first night....Stuart (owner) is the nicest man ever!! he corralled all the children and parents, to the top of the site - in pitch black and then launched hundreds of glow sticks into the air for the children to scramble for...our kids loved it!!! the... This is an unusual campsite because you can buy a wheelbarrow load of logs from them, wheel them to your camping area and make your very own campfire - kids love it - proper camping, cooking marshmallows, baking potatoes/bananas in foil, sausages.....a very different experience. You have plenty of room for your tent and car. The small shop on site... More

I camped at the Orchard in early July with my husband and our baby son. We stayed for two nights (Wednesday-Friday). Booking was easy by phone and we found the staff helpful and friendly. On our arrival we had our pick of the campground as there were few other campers. It was perfect for us as we wanted a few... More

Following mixed reviews, we were expecting the worst and on arrival was not 100% sure. We were wrong and had a great 4 night stay! We were offered a pitch by the wash facilities which we declined and opted instead for the lower field (no electric) by the river - this was a good decision - we set up with... More

This is my 6th consecutive year at Orchard Campsite and it didn't disappoint. It has become a tradition that the first weekend of the school holidays we hold a 'mum's camping trip'- large group of 7-8 mums and 17 children aged from 4-15. It is far and away the highlight of the year for my children, my daughter says "... More
