Excellent food and service have eaten here many times would recommend. Home cooked food and nice friendly surroundings. Nice bar area and adjoining restaurant. Have eaten here with family and friends. Always a nice atmosphere.

Visited this pub on Sunday 16 March 2014 for lunch - we sat in the bar area as there were 3 of us plus 2 small terriers - we had the two course lunch (at a very reasonable price) and all meals were hot and tasty with a good variety of vegetables - afterwards our terriers were spoilt with a... More

I am really surprised having read the reviews for this pub, I work locally to the pub, we eat there often in both work and private situations, have also had Christmas meals here. The food is always plentiful and tasty, great value for money; the pub itself always clean and welcoming, and the staff try extremely hard tobe accomodating. The... More

We called in on a busy weekend lunchtime and we had some very nice paninis, excellent real ale and nice glass of wine. Portions are large and at a reasonable price and there is a good choice of bar meals. Friendly service - will be returning.

I hade stayed here back in November last year when visiting a friend nearby. The rooms are nice and quiet despite being above a busy pub. The food is great and the beers nicely looked after. Will come back end of April. Looking forward to it.

We have stayed at the Jolly Brewers on numerous occasions when attending local events. We are always assured of a warm welcome from John and Linda and their family. Our room has been comfortable, spotless and well equipped. Breakfast is magnificent and although we have not yet found time to eat in the restaurant, the menu is varied and inexpensive.... More

I stayed here in early September with a friend and I was very impressed with the staff and in particular the owners. They could not have been more helpful, even when we arrived at a very busy time of night and asked if it was possible to have a couple of sandwiches - they even brought them up to our... More

We have stayed here twice, firstly July 2010 and then May 2011, just for one night ,our relatives live nearby so we stay here to attend family functions, it's a pub, restaurant and b and b , and not a bad one , the room is a bit small so a long stay would be awkward , but it's nice... More
