A superb location only minutes from the centre of town with a wonderful selection of good restaurants. Street parking was never a problem. All bedrooms and bathrooms at Clare House are decorated and fitted to a very high standard with extras such as a fridge, good tea and coffee making facilities and nice china. Sadly we only had a one night stay but right from our greeting at the door to our fantastic breakfast the next morning it was 5 star service and accomodation (the world top hotels could take a lesson in hospitality from Dianne). A true find and would heartily reccomend and we are looking foward to our next stay more

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed our stay. The room we stayed in was at the front of the house and was comfortable and cosy (if a little small!). The owners have paid a lot of attention to detail with small things that really made a difference, for example - local chocolates in the room on arrival, china cups... more

Clare House is in an excellent position,near to many restaurants and main streets. The house is elegant and the rooms stylish.The breakfast cannot be faulted and the full English can last you all day! We would not hesitate to stay here again when we return to Swanage. more
