Stayed here for one night in February whilst walking the SW Coast Path from Poole. Very friendly hosts, room clean and warm and bed very comfortable. Good breakfast, and they didn't mind making us an early breakfast so we could get away promptly to resume our walk. Convenient location, just off main road, pub opposite for evening meal.

My wife and I stayed here in September for 2 nights we were so glad we found the danesfort guest house as it was a busy weekend in swanage and everywhere else was fully booked (luckily for us) Hilary and mark were excellent hosts and was ideally situated right near the sea front. We stayed in room 3 and couldn't... More

Nine of us Wrinkly Walkers stayed here for a week last week 8th-12th September. The welcome on arrival was very pleasing which made us feel very assured that this was the right place to be. The room were very clean and comfortable, all with en-suite. The descriptions of the rooms are totally accurate. Breakfast time was a highlight with so... More

We stayed here for a week in August and had a fantastic time. I had a 4 year old and a 10 month old and they catered for our needs wonderfully. The food was lovely and they let us go in first for breakfast because it was the baby's breaksfast time. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and the... More

We booked very last minute and we're able to get a reservation due to a cancellation. My wife, my child and I stayed in the family room. We were pleased with our stay and the hospitality shown by the owners was first class. They were very good with our little one, even making soft boiled eggs and soldiers for him.... More

I stayed on my own with my two kids for 3 nights. Warm welcome and brilliant room which was the suite at the top. Two bedrooms with a lounge area so plenty of room to relax with two kids (usual freeview so kids channels). Honesty bar was a bonus and used this a few times and very reasonable. Excellent location,... More

This is our third stay here and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Swanage. We always receive a friendly welcome from the owners and their gorgeous dog Dylan. The king size bed was extremely comfy and the room clean, shower room was well equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was just enough to get you through the day and not greasy... More

We were made very welcome when access was available after 4 pm. The family room was clean and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. The heating control on the shower was a bit temperamental and maybe that area could be upgraded. Breakfast was good and helpings quite sufficient for us. We were given a key to the... More
