We stayed here for a week in August and had a fantastic time. I had a 4 year old and a 10 month old and they catered for our needs wonderfully. The food was lovely and they let us go in first for breakfast because it was the baby's breaksfast time. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and the... More

We booked very last minute and we're able to get a reservation due to a cancellation. My wife, my child and I stayed in the family room. We were pleased with our stay and the hospitality shown by the owners was first class. They were very good with our little one, even making soft boiled eggs and soldiers for him.... More

I stayed on my own with my two kids for 3 nights. Warm welcome and brilliant room which was the suite at the top. Two bedrooms with a lounge area so plenty of room to relax with two kids (usual freeview so kids channels). Honesty bar was a bonus and used this a few times and very reasonable. Excellent location,... More

This is our third stay here and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Swanage. We always receive a friendly welcome from the owners and their gorgeous dog Dylan. The king size bed was extremely comfy and the room clean, shower room was well equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was just enough to get you through the day and not greasy... More

We were made very welcome when access was available after 4 pm. The family room was clean and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. The heating control on the shower was a bit temperamental and maybe that area could be upgraded. Breakfast was good and helpings quite sufficient for us. We were given a key to the... More

This was my 2nd time at Danesfort guest house, its a relaxing place with friendly host and the wonderful Dylan, my room was very clean and comfortable with the en-suite, which has plenty of room to dry yourself as well, there was a great choice for breakfast which was very well cooked, I certainly would go again, and recommend it... This is a jewel of a place to stay in Swanage. Clean and comfy rooms, Mark's breakfasts will definitely set you up for the day. Hilary is a darling hostess, and Dylan the dog will provide anyone missing their animals with the perfect fix! We stayed for three nights, and will definitely go back for more. There is NOTHING to... We have been to the Danesfort Hotel a few times and have already booked our return visit for next year! The owners always make us feel very welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. Our children have made use of the large toy box, and have also spent plenty of time fussing over the gorgeous "Dylan" the dog! The adjoining... More
