From start to end of my stay you couldn't get better anywhere! The location is ideal for the beach or town. The room was well equiped to meet all your needs incl. TV & the continental breakfast was enough for breakfast & a picnic lunch. Highly recommend.

Short break (4 nights) at the Railway Cottage over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Four of us in the family room, which was spacious enough and with a very good bathroom (rubber ducks were a nice touch and thrilled our daughter). Wifi working so son was happy. Parking difficult to find but always got a space off-road, which given the... More

Having booked the 5 course dining on the steam train - this was ideally located as a short walk away from the station, town and beach. We were able to park, unpack and explore the area on foot. Our room was on the ground floor - the "compact" one, which was adequate for one night - unusually for B&B there... More

The guest house is very conveniently located near the Station and Beach. Nice plentiful breakfast and friendly host. Parking was a issue and if you a light sleeper tan ask for room on the other side of road. Wifi was available but didn't work, but weren't bothered.

Katherine and Sam were very accommodating to all our needs. The breakfast set us up for the day and were a real treat, plenty of food, coffee, tea's flowing. We had a lovely relaxing time welcoming in the New Year. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We were a party of 16 made up of kids and adults and stayed... More

Had a great night here with 2 children. Rooms and public areas very clean. Comfortable bed in a good sized room with plenty of mirrors! Front garden with seating. Great hosts and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Close to seafront and shops etc. Would recommend and will visit again.

We have stayed in many B and Bs and having read the reviews we chose the Railway ! Much to our disappointment the 'reviews', having stayed there, don't seem to equate ! Our room was very compact for a double (not king-size) with a shower, wc, and basin in a WARDROBE. Privacy was none existent especially with the gaps in... More
