We stayed here when attending a friends wedding nearby. Trevor & Carole made us very welcome. The Whirlies was very comfortable, the breakfasts were great, the views beautiful & we particularly enjoyed sitting on the swing seat in the sunshine! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

What a little "gem" the Whirlies B&B is. We were made very welcome by Trevor and Carole and had a "beaut" time exploring the Jurassic Coast and the charming villages nearby. We spent three days and wished it had been longer. We had spent 8 weeks touring Ireland Scotland and England and can honestly say the hospitality and accommodation at... More

My husband and I stayed here in July and it was an excellent b and b. The place is well situated, immaculate and the breakfast exceptional and the owners very pleasant and helpful. Would go back and definitely recommend if you are looking for a b and b in the area

A delightfully charming B&B with wonderful views over the Purbeck countryside. The Whirlies is an excellent base for walking (Purbeck Way / South West Coast Path) or just enjoying the peace and tranquility of the sleepy location. Trevor and Carole were most accommodating and the breakfast (including a superb fresh fruit salad) will set you up for the day. Special... More

Rooms are comfortable, the one we staye d in having a lovely view over the garden and valley. Within walking distance of the steam train and if youare a little more... More

My uncle from Poole recommended the Whirlies to us and we were not disappointed. A beautiful location in the Purbeck HIlls surrounded by rolling green hills. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Trevor and Carole were very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area and gave us tips on what to see. Our room was... More

We stayed at The Whirlies for a week in July and couldn't have asked for better hosts - being new to the area we found Carole & Trevor very helpful, answering our many questions and lending us a map. We travelled with 2 friends so took over the B&B - We were looked after very well, nothing being too much... More
