I absolutely LOVED my stay. I came as part of a school trip and found The Limes very accommodating and welcoming. Great owners, ultra comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast. Completely worth the money! I would 100% recommend.

This is just a spot on place to stay. Relaxed, friendly, clean, no nonsense. We will absolutely go back and highly recommend that you do the same. The cooked breakfast was awesome. Properly hand cooked and plenty of it.

...of the sea which, on our visit, was sparkling in the February sunshine. Convenient location, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and friendly hosts - what more could you ask! As an added bonus the owner has written a novel inspired by her experiences as a seaside landlady - 'White Oaks' by Lyn McCullough (on amazon.co.uk). I enjoyed my stay and I'm... More

This year we will stay for 2 nights over the new year with our daughter, son in law, granddaughter and their springer spaniel. The proprietors, Lyn and Declan, are the perfect hosts and always make us very welcome, including the dog. Declans breakfast is... More

Have just returned from a 2 night stay with Lyn and Declan at The Limes. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. There was no evidence of doggie smells/stains/hair even though this is a well known 'dog friendly' establishment. Breakfast was delicious we were offered a traditional 'full english' or a variation of and I cannot... More
