We stayed in room 2, a light airy corner room, duel aspect and big bay window with seating. This room also has the bath and seperate shower cubicle. ( the blue bathroom in the pictures) Room very comfortable but bed a bit on the small side. Room very clean, apart from a bit of dust behind the bed. The pros:... More

This was our second stay at the Castleton and once again we cannot fault anything during our 4 night break. Our room was spotlessly clean, well stocked with tea, coffee, water etc. Great choice at breakfast, left really full and did not need to eat again until the evening. Becky is an excellent host who makes you feel really welcome... More

A wonderful 3 days visit with my sister and 85 year old Mother. We stayed in room 8, a two bedroom suite with lovely bathroom. Cleanliness was top of the agenda with beautiful laundered bed linen and super comfy beds. The owner and staff were very friendly and informative. Breakfast catered for every taste, including fresh fruit salad and natural... More

Stayed in a superior double, very comfortable, plenty of room for two with excellent views across Swanage bay. Breakfast both plentiful and good quality, nothing too much trouble, waiting staff keen to ensure that you have every thing you need and happy to replenish your table. Located about 0.5 mikes from Swanage centre about long the main promenade. Happy to... More

Very good 2 days spent here. Parking could be a problem but managed to get a space and did not move afterwards! Room, facilities, cleanliness, friendliness and breakfast were excellent. Well done the two of you for maintaining such high standards. Weather was not good so went on the steam railway which brought back memories of loooong ago, but enjoyable... More

Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice and nicely cooked and served with a smile. The hour 'window' is a little restrictive though. Nicely furnished and very clean. The location is great for the beach and the town. Approx 15 minute walk to Swanage station. Parking as previously mentioned is very limited and the staff appear to take two of the... More

The hotel accommodation, food and staff are excellent. The only reason for not giving a 5 is the lack of parking space. However, it must be noted that this seems to be a common problem in Swanage so bear that in mind if you choose somewhere else.

We were accomadated helpfully for a last minute stay travelling with our little one and travel cot in tow. The B&B is in a perfect location, a couple mins walk from beach. It's nicely decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. Lovely bathroom toiletries too. Made use of the very comfortable visitors lounge also. High quality breakfast with something for everyone. We... Very nice room and well equipped. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Everything was done as well as possible and staff were lovely. Would recommend. Breakfast serving time of 8.15 to 9.15 was a bit restrictive although the breakfast itself was super for choice and quality.

Just returned from two nights at The Castleton. Great location to the seafront and walking into town, very comfortable rooms. We had the family suite which worked perfectly and Becky provided a cot for my daughter, highchair for breakfast and on the second day even set her place up with baby cutlery- very sweet. breakfast was very tasty far superior...
