I stayed in the Old Dairy at Thorn Bank for three nights every week for three months while relocating for work. The Old Dairy is a self-contained self-catering conversion with its own front door in the grounds of the main house. It comprises a large 'studio' style room with vaulted ceiling and has a king sized bed, corner kitchen, sofa,... More

My husband and I arrived at this charming B&B and we're not disappointed. Parking is just across the road in a public car park, however you can offload outside the house. David the owner greeted us and showed us to the 'Blue Room' which was welcoming and very clean with views over the garden. We only stayed the one night... More

We were booked here for our honeymoon night and was not disappointed. The hosts were welcoming and professional, and the room was stunning with lovely garden views. We loved the period features and the roll top bath in our room (Blue room), The fine details were good to see. The next morning after a very comfy and good nights sleep... More

Easy to park (just round the corner), lovely big rooms and very comfortable beds, friendly welcome and a fab stay all in all. Right in centre of Sherborne. I'd highly recommend. P.s yummy breakfast to cater for all tastes.

Booked on Late Rooms last minute and turned up at 7 at night. Welcomed by a lovely lady and her husband we were the only guests and had the Red Room. Great facilities bottle water provide for kettle as you can't fit it under the tap in the sink. Room was comfortable, quiet and homely. Bath ran really quick with... More

Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and comfortable and just a short walk to the town centre, excellent breakfast - highly recommended. Warm welcome, including tea on arrival. Beautiful gardens. Sherborne Old Castle is walk able, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

I think you can expect more for £104. The room was okay but a bit on the spartan side. There was no shower curtain and the shower did not attach to the wall so you could not stand, this is just not acceptable these days. The bathroom had all sorts of mismatched shower foams and lotions that I thought had... More

Turned up last weekend having confirmed the booking that day and the fact we had a one year old. Arrived to be met by a shrill woman saying we couldn't stay. We asked why to which they responded variously that they didn't have insurance! or even better that children weren't allowed to stay in listed buildings!!! Pathetic excuses and left... More

We have recently come back from a wonderful stay at the Old Diary Cottage, part of Thorn Bank B&B. The cottage is beautifully decorated with the most comfortable beds, and the owner made us feel very welcome. B&B is short walk from town centre with your own private entrance. The cooked breakfast was brilliant. Highly recommended.
