My husband and son travelled to Dorchester for a long weekend of karting at Clay Pigeon circuit. They booked well in advance and received a lovely confirmation package through the post which included various Tourist Information leaflets. It was a sign of things to come. My husband said the B&B was "exceptional". He's not a man for superlatives so I... more

We stayed at this GH for three nights. Mrs Joan Cox was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was warm, tastefully decorated and furnished and complete with an adequate supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and local information in a large pack. The breakfast menu is the most comprehensive we have ever seen. My first breakfast was so large it was... more

I have only stayed at Aquila Heights for one night, while working in Dorchester, but would certainly stay there again in the future. The B&B is situated on a quiet street, not too far from the centre of Dorchester, and there is off-road parking. The house is comfortable and welcoming, and my room was large and very well equipped -... more

Everything you could want from a Bed and Breakfast and more. Joan, the owner, was very friendly and went out of her way to enure we had a great stay. The rooms were very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well supplied with everything from hairdrier to a huge range of toiletries and shampoos in each bathroom. The showers in both rooms... more

Joan Cox is a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and experienced B&B owner who has honed her craft to perfection. The beautiful house is in a great location, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast fantastic. The only problems I encountered were deciding what to choose from the enormous breakfast menu and avoiding snacking on Joan's selection of chocolates and sweets in... more

Having stayed at the Aquila Heights for the last five years. The level of comfort and friendliness of the host Joan Cox can’t be surpassed. The rooms are of an exceedingly high standard for cleanliness and comfort. The breakfast variety is excellent and the standard of the breakfast is superb. The variety of shampoos hair conditioner and shower cream in... more

This wonderful stay helped to complete a memorable visit to England. The house is beautiful, and our room was arguably the most comfortable we encountered in all of England. The amenities, from breakfast to the bathroom showers, were top notch. All in all, a great experience. more

My partner and I stayed at the Aquila Heights Bed and Breakfast for just one night. We were welcomed by Jean the owner of the property and shown around. We were very impressed that every need is catered for. The owner goes beyond what most B & B's do. Clean Towels, good choice of shampoos and lots of tea and... more

Joan Cox who runs this bed and breakfast goes above and beyond what is necessary, to make a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are cosy and home-like, and very clean. The en-suites showers are suitably powerful and come stocked with an astonishing array of shower gels, shampoos and conditioners. Fantastic choice of breakfast, cooked to order. Lots of... more
