This just has to be the best B&B in Dorset, perhaps in the whole UK. OK, so others are better in parts but the Fullers Earth package will take some beating. It's a lovely country house, not pretentious, just lovely. It's in a great village. Wendy and Ian are the finest of hosts. The room could not be more comfortable.... More

We were very extremely happy that we made this b&b in Cattistock our base for touring around Dorset. Cattistock is a lovely, quiet village, and is centrally located. Ian and Wendy are the most warm and welcoming hosts; we truly felt that we were guests in a lovely, private home. The bedroom we stayed in was roomy and very comfortable.... More

Stayed with Wendy and Ian at Fuller's Earth for 2 nights in August 2015. Really nice couple - couldn't do enough for you. Room was lovely with a big comfy bed. Everything you could need. Breakfast was superb and the local pub - The Fox & Hounds - is but a short stride through the paddock 2 minutes away. Excellent... More

We returned to Fullers Earth this summer for our annual family holiday. It was as lovely as 2014. My husband and I travelled with our two young children and like last year, Wendy and Ian went out of their way to make our holiday and stay as wonderful as possible. Even though Fullers Earth is so gorgeous and stylish, it... More

We don't do B&B very often and after a weekend stay at Fullers Earth maybe we should stay at B&B's more often. Wendy & Ian are great hosts, they made us very welcome and we felt right at home from the very 1st minute we were greeted by Ian. The room was great, comfortable and very quite. Its a short... More

Fullers Earth fulfilled our needs perfectly. The house and rooms were spacious and homely. The offer of a cup of tea in a large pot following our long journey and late arrival was just what we needed. Our attentive hosts provided a first rate breakfast including fresh produce harvested from their garden. We had great amusement making plans for the... More

Fullers Earth is a gem in the charming village of Cattistock within easy reach of many of Dorset's treasures, including Thomas Hardy's cottage and his later home, Max Gate, We enjoyed glorious walks in the surrounding countryside. Wendy and Ian were generous and attentive hosts. Fullers Earth is a charming property, tastefully decorated and furnished, offering a high standard of accommodation.... More

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we felt welcomed, totally cared for and spoilt! My husband and I were staying in the area as we were photographing a 3 day wedding. When we arrived, Ian and Wendy had remembered why we were there and offered us tea and homemade cake in their STUNNING garden to keep... More

I really don't want to write this review but promised Ian and Wendy that I would so can't let them down! The reason I'm not keen on reviewing is that the next time we go to book they will be full! Saying that I have already booked a weekend next year. The bedrooms are lovely, breakfast is delicious, and the... More

A beautiful house in a lovely village with a pretty garden. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. And when Wendy and Ian say "nothing is too much trouble" that's exactly how it is. We had a wonderful weekend with three generations. What fun!
