We came down for a brewery tour and wanted a b&b for a night away. We found the Fox on the Badger brewery website and thought it looked fab. We boxed for 2 nights and found the landlord friendly and wanted to help us settle in. It's a dog friendly place which we loved as we grew up with dogs... More

Just fancied a night away and found The Fox Inn on Trip Advisor. Arrived in the afternoon and staff were very welcoming. Its way out in the middle of nowhere, but just what we wanted. Sat outside in the gardens when we arrived and could not get over how quiet it was. Bliss! Stayed in room 15, which had everything... More

Julie, Alex, the owners and all the staff are so accommodating, couldn't have wished for more. Great surroundings for dog owners too. Food great! A little tip to... More

We have just stayed at a campsite locally and called in for a drink and no more as we had already arranged to eat elsewhere. The barstaff were friendly and helpful and there were flowers on the bar which we had seen one of the staff bringing up the lane to work from her own garden. It was early Sunday... More

Stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of August. Was underwhelmed on arrival - and inside things only got worse, dark, dirty and although there were quite a few staff floating around, and only 1 table taken in the restaurant, it still took us over 15 minutes to get the key to our room. The room, which we had... More

We have decided to reply to this review, not in depth to argue the insults and inaccurate information wriiten, rather than just to make two very honest and genuine comments. 1 - The member of staff mentioned did EXACTLY as the gentleman, to whom the glasses belonged, instructed. Which was to wrap the glasses in bubble wrap and post them.... More

We are not from these parts (stay off the moors and all that) but I took the plunge and went South with my girlfriend for a couple of nights to visit some good friends of ours in the area. We stayed in the amazing and hospitable Inn called the Fox Inn (Ansty-Dorchester). This is barr none our favourite place in... More

We stayed here for one night along with our dog after a trip on the ferry from Jersey and ahead of a long drive north. We had a very warm welcome (by all the staff) excellent ales and a good meal. The locals were as welcoming as the staff and we will definitely be back in the future. A word... More
