We stayed with Karen and Kevin in October/November half term for 5 nights and they were really enjoyable considering the time of year and the fact that the county had just been battered by hurricane force winds. We're keen walkers, so we were glad to be able to get out and about and see that this particular area hadn't been... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. We were a group of 7 and had two doubles inside the main building and three rooms in one of the cottages. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds all comfortable. we had a sitting room, kitchen and access to a washing machine. Our hostess, Karen, was wonderful. She made a... More

We were upgraded to the Stable Cottage, which is not a stand-alone building. It had two floors - lounge and kitchen downstairs, two bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom had a double bed, the other one had three singles and a cot for a baby. There was also a bathroom on each floor. The main one was tiny and had very... More

We stayed for just one night after visiting friends locally. We couldn't have found a better place to stop over. Karen is everything others have said here, delightful, helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, very clean, wonderful view and the bathroom was superb. More like a boutique hotel than a B & B in some respects. Incredible value and... More

We stayed Monday to Friday at Field Farmhouse, Karen gave us a warm welcome and was a perfect hostess, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely and varied. We had a room overlooking a hill with sheep which was delightful. The en suite was perfect, with plenty of hot water, the rooms and en suite were spotlessly clean and this... More

We had selected this farmhouse by using Trip Adviser ourselves which had wonderful reviews - we were not disappointed! Karen is a lovely hostess, the bedroom spotless, comfortable and we needed for nothing. To the lovely toiletries to the coffee and biscuits on a tray. The English breakfast was cooked to order and wonderful fresh fruit. The outlook onto the... More

Spotless, warm and comfortable stay at Tack Room cottage. Everything provided, even down to the bottles of water on the welcome tray and personal toiletries in the bathroom.Karen was a delight and nothing was too much trouble. A perfect location for discovering the lovely countryside. We will certainly be recommending this ideal holiday stay.

Very very friendly hostess! We were welcomed by name immediately and shown to our room. It was just what we were looking for after a long day on the road. The bed and room were comfortable and adequately sized. Bathroom had plenty of hot water. The entire property is beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers everywhere - very picturesque! Full... The family quest house was extremly friendly and in a lovely location. Nice bedroom and 4* bathroom. The owner was very helpful. When we booked, they sent a confirmation letter including with all useful informations and with a direction map. Nice quiet area and peaceful stay, safe carpark. The breakfast was brilliant, with fresh fruit from the garden. 3 miles... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the B&B. Lovely room with stunning views out over the hills. The room was immaculate, so clean with a superb en-suite and lovely attention to detail. A great choice of cereal and fruit followed by toast and a cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend.
