i stayed in this hotel for one night. I know Bournemouth very well so I knew it was in a great location. 10 mins walk to the seafront so plenty of restaurants to eat and local bars. The chocolate theme works really well especially when they give you free chocolate in your room and you can help yourself to chocolate... More

Lovely hotel, nice chocolates, but the heat in the bedroom ruined things a little bit, as it made for very uncomfortable nights.A shame really, but the lack of aircon would definitely put me off booking this hotel again. It was like stepping into a sauna. At the price we paid for 2 nights, I feel it's not good enough.

What more can you want from somewhere other than smelling divinely of chocolate. The hallways had the slight essence of chocolate which was beautiful. The rooms were decorated lovely and very clean and tidy. The workshops of which were on offer did appeal to me however on this trip I did not have enough time. I was able to snap... More

My husband and I had a nice couple of nights at the Chocolate Hotel. Parking on site.Good location about 10 min walk to pier/town. Staff were helpful but not that visible. We were in room 16 at the top of the building which was absolutely red hot, so much so that the lovely handmade chocolate in the room had melted!... More

I was recommended this hotel by a friend and I am so glad I took her advice. This hotel was just fabulous. As soon as we walked in we felt so welcome and this was not entirely due to the free chocolate on the reception desk. We had 2 rooms both of which were just delightful. The single room was... More

I stayed here as a solo traveller and was made to feel welcome straight away. The owners and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The bedroom themes were a great touch. My only regret was I didn't stay long enough. If you have a love of chocolate this is the place to stay.

The chocolate theme is clear as soon as you walk in, but it's done well, with modern decor and a touch of humour (check out the chocolate portraits), so it's not oppressive or cheesy. We knew before we arrived that our room was one of the smallest, and the price reflected that. The room was indeed snug - no room... More

I stayed with a group of friends for a birthday weekend. I thought the hotel was lovely, rooms nicely decorated with lots of character (and chocolate!), but was most impressed with the fantastic service we received, including the lady in charge coming to our rescue when our reserved taxi did not turn up to take us to the station. The... More

I just wanted to write a little something to say how fantastic our stay was. We have just returned from a weekend where 8 old school friends took over the bottom floor including a suite. The rooms were all fantastic and all slightly different. Each room had plenty of space and lovely showers! (Ours had one of those lovely large... More

The hotel is well situated and is close to the town centre and the BIC, which was handy for a concert. We were welcomed by the office manager; however, did not see the owners at any point. She was very friendly and welcoming, and so was the lady who served us our breakfast. The room was nice, I was expecting... More
