Myself and 3 friends stayed in the family room, all together one Saturday in May. We parked up in their spacious carpark and checked in early. We received a warm welcome. The decor was dated but everything was clean. We had a fabulous seaview and plenty of room with 2 single beds and a double. Breakfast was on the small... More

On a 5 day coach trip and stayed here.Jenny the owner came out to greet us with a big smiling welcome. That counts for a lot when you have been on a coach for 6 hours! The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and also a very interesting history, built for the Queens physician and apparently became a hotel in the 1920's.A lovely building.My... The weather was bitterly cold and I'm sorry to say the Balmoral's central heating failed to heat my first floor single room on the Friday evening even though the radiator was on full blast! Thankfully there was enough bedding for me to have a... More

Our party were well catered for at this nice family run hotel. Rooms at the rear do have a genuine sea view over looking the bay and the pier. Pleasant lounge area, large TV room with plasma TV, small lift to all floors. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a good choice of fruit, cereals, full English, toast, marmalade etc.... We stayed at The Balmoral Hotel for one night at the end of October. It's in an excellent location (about 5/10 minutes walk from shops, amenities etc) and has a large car park at the rear for customer use. Our room was very pleasant, clean & spacious (a little old fashioned perhaps but no complaints) and the lady who greeted... More

Thank you for your review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay at The Balmoral for your week-end. I'm sorry that you did have some noisey neighbours during your stay, unforunately when we put out "specials" at this time of year, it tends to be young people who pick up on the offers who want a "party week...
