If you have just arrived in a container from Africa this may seem like a good option. Everyone else - this is a last resort. It isn't a hotel it's a hostel. Have you seen the film? Locals hire out rooms for a night. The beds are comfy but exceedingly narrow, and I found bloodstains on my mattress. Food was... More

Three of us went for one nights stay, we had quite literally a box room with three single beds. The bathroom was small and uncomfortable for three people to use. Room was clean, but hot. We went to bournemouth for a night out, when we got back to the Fairmount, we where told that we needed to keep our voices... More

Free wifi was excellent, good shower , quiet room , decent size TV, clean & comfortable bed. Building is old & shows signs of wear , good enough for the price. Parking is extra £5/night. Breakfast is also available for £5pp , we chose to have breakfast in town which is an easy walk from hotel.

An older building with all the wear of the years, but they were obviously fixing things that were worn out. Our bathroom had been given a fair makeover and we had a full sized flat screen TV with excellent reception. The wifi was excellent and faster than we have had in hotels costing three times as much. I would strongly... More

A one night stop over, it was ok... Especially if you are on a budget. Not a lot to say really... We received a friendly greeting, room was clean, bed was ok - room was a little noisy and too warm (but we slept ok), had a late drink in the bar - that was friendly and reasonable. At £27... More

very basic, very good price, clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff , walls may be a bit thin, so some noises may be heard, would recommend for short stays, as there is no clothes storage facility.

Spent a night in this hotel couldn't believe how clean it was, lovely staff and everything you need for a perfect weekend away. Not a hotel but has other options as it is linked with other hotels in the area.Even left them with some beer. Cheers guys

A group of of us 8 + stayed here last month while we were in Bournemouth for the PDC Darts. We chose to stay here as it is a 5 min walk to the BIC & 10 mins to the town centre. The room was adequate for what we paid for, located on a quiet road so had a good... More
