very basic, very good price, clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff , walls may be a bit thin, so some noises may be heard, would recommend for short stays, as there is no clothes storage facility.

Spent a night in this hotel couldn't believe how clean it was, lovely staff and everything you need for a perfect weekend away. Not a hotel but has other options as it is linked with other hotels in the area.Even left them with some beer. Cheers guys

A group of of us 8 + stayed here last month while we were in Bournemouth for the PDC Darts. We chose to stay here as it is a 5 min walk to the BIC & 10 mins to the town centre. The room was adequate for what we paid for, located on a quiet road so had a good... More

Stayed at the Fairmount for 2 nights and it was better than I was expecting. The rooms were quite basic but comfortable and the bed, although I booked a double, was 2 single beds pushed together. The first room I stayed in the shower didn't work - barely a trickle of water came out. Spoke to the hotel staff who... More

Stayed for a night with my friends and we all loved it. Very good value for money and 2 minutes if that from the town and beach. Think it has been rated quite harshly. Yes its not the best around but it was £15 a night which is a bargain. Would stay here again as was way better than any... More

Booked a room with x2 double beds in for New Years Eve as me and 2 friends wanted somewhere to stay overnight to celebrate the New Year. To be honest, I didn't have high hopes as we left it last minute and we wanted somewhere cheap, and for £60 I knew exactly the kind of place it would be. The... More

The fairmount isn't really a hotel, is just like a period travel lodge, and none the worse for that. It doesn't have a resturant and only a small bar. However the room was clean, bed comfortable, shower, heating and tv worked fine. With the bonus of lovely high ceilings an period features. It's not luxury but at £26 a night... More

We were charged £70 a night for a 3 bed room. Appauling quality for £70. £70 english pounds that would have been better spent ANYWHERE else. First can say that I didn't know this price otherwise I would have made us book elsewhere. Secondly, if you are thinking lovely, spacious, double beds with an equally spacious room, then let me... As I arrived, I was shocked when it was one of the few hotels left with vacancies. Then I saw this sign on the door stating that a stay starts at 15 pounds a night (I payed 23 for the most basic room). However, hotel rates fluctuate just as exchange rates so I didn't really care. Got there at 13... More

Have stopped here twice before, very clean hotel, never had a problem, towels changed everyday, very modern. in great location for shops ++ beach. They offer breakfast for £5 but need to go to their sister hotel, always a £5 spa day offer at the Marriot hotel which is a great offer!! Would go again and would recommend 100%
