Just returned again after another fab time at the majestic. Amanda, as brilliant as ever, pleasing everyone. The duo Retro were really enjoyable and amusing, the male vocalist (forgotten his name) had a good voice, and one night we had a strange man named Arnold Gutbucket who was popular but to be honest I couldn't stand him, luckily he won't... We went to the Majestic with Shearings. The reception area is nicely laid out, with pleasant staff. We had a room on the third floor. It was one that had been refurbished, and was clean and spacious and warm. The beds were comfortable and had a good nights sleep each night. The bathroom was as you would expect, everything in... Our third annual January visit to this hotel for a three night weekend break. We travelled to the venue using our own car. The hotel is ideally located for walking or exploring further afield by car or public transport. Parking is available on site for an extra charge, however it's free at weekends immediately outside the hotel, which we took... More

Had a wonderful short break last August it was a self drive holiday and we didnt know what to expect as every thing was done on the spur of the minute and was done at very short notice, with the booking code offered it was so cheap! By this time I was quite worried and even more sceptical about what... More

Just home from a super weekend at the Majestic Hotel,we went as club on a bargain weekend. We were not disappointed, good clean hotel, friendly staff. The food was good as was the entertainment. A bonus was the four free drinks on the saturday evening, which you could upgrade for a small price. The only down side for us was the entertainment on... More

Had a 3 night stay at the Majestic Hotel Bournemouth. Good value for money. Clean and comfortable and very friendly staff. Ideal for coastal walks. Budget prices but not budget rooms or food. There was plenty to eat. Full english breakfast and help yourself to cereals and fruit etc. and a 3 course evening dinner with tea or coffee.

Six friends spent a lovely holiday here over the New Year. We all can recommend this Hotel. We had lovely clean rooms and fantastic tasting food, well served by friendly staff. The two that served us were Aida and Eric, they were very helpful and friendly. Amanda Jane was brilliant as an all round entertainer, it wouldn't be the same... More

I am sitting in one of the hotel lounges writing this review, and having been to quite a few other Shearings hotels feel I can justly write a review about this hotel. Location: Set one road back from the cliff and sea front you don't have to worry about the views from your bedroom window. However directly opposite the hotel... More

Went with friends on a five day coach holiday with Shearings. To be honest we really enjoyed it and for the money we paid it was excellent value. Positives were the excursions to Winchester and Salisbury plus additional ones we paid for, Laurence was a brilliant driver and very informative about the local area. The food was ok not the...
