As other guests have intimated the bedrooms are a little dated, but I didn't have any intention of staying in and watching television in my room, there is a huge television in one of the downstairs lounges anyway, fantastic weather the week we were their so underused by us. The bedroom and bathroom was kept clean, tidy and well stocked by Birgit with tea... More

we went on a Shearings holiday and this hotel was one of their better ones in that it was in a reasonable state of repair and not shabby. Meals where very good with a nice choice and not some thing the cook has thought up to keep expenses down as in some hotels in this group. The staff where all... More

Great Hotel; Wonderful Location. We stayed at this hotel several times before. Close to the centre you can take an easy walk along the top of East Cliff Road very pretty and scenic. Lots of buses as well every few minutes. We had breakfast and evening meal - table service. The food was fine and value for money. The hotel... More

Wonderful staff. Polite, helpful and friendly. Lounge and dining room both of a high standard. Bedrooms need a little updating although very clean and comfortable. Lift extremely narrow and surprisingly small. Entertainment very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would happily return for another holiday.

We have returned from a week at the Majestic Hotel where we thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived we were amazed at how quickly a coach load of people were booked in by the efficient receptionist. Our room No. 224 was basic but very clean, twin beds very comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangers. The bathroom had... More

Just had a 5 day break at the Majestic. Although we had a basic room where the bathroom could do with up dating, we found the bed comfortable and plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Choice of menu was very good and the service fast and the staff friendly. The entertainment in the evenings was excellent (although obviously aimed at... More

We visited the hotel in August 2014. Staff as usual very helpful and friendly which includes the coach driver. The hotel very dated and shabby, going up the stairs to the first floor you are met by black scuff marks on the walls. The room was clean but yellow artexed walls complete with cobwebs out of the cleaners reach, and... More
