Just back from a 3 night stay at the Majestic. We were welcomed by friendly staff, and our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom wasn't great but nothing too bad, plenty of hot water. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the room was nice and quiet. The food is good and there is plenty of it, and there was... More

On a shearings midweek break,we were again very happy with the whole package. The Majestic is never going to be top class, but it is warm, welcoming and friendly, The food is good and plentiful, the staff are super, and the rooms are clean and adequate. Although a little out of town, the east cliff seafront is just a few minutes walk away. The nightly... More

I have lost count how many times we have stayed at the Majestic and felt it was time for a review! When we arrived we were greeted like old friends, the reception staff are really friendly. We were given our room which is one we have stayed in previously. It wasn't perfect but certainly adequate for our needs. The food... More

Having been on several of Shearings breaks, I can't wait for the next. The coach travel, the hotel, food and entertaining in the evening was fantastic value, then there was even more. There was also drinks vouchers every night for any four drinks . II don't know how they do it. Oh and days out as well. Just can not... More

Just had 5 day Shearing break, at the Bay Majestic is not a bad hotel, it is not the best hotel, but we had a good time. The food was ample with a good choice, the room clean and tidy, the bathroom was tired and needed a new bath with shower, not all rooms have showers, but the bath was... More

At £33 a night we didn't expect much and we didn't get it. No soap, three pillows instead of four in. our double room, although we did see the odd pillow leaning up against bedroom doors in the corridor. Room comfortable and food reasonable, but the tea bag in my pot of coffee after dinner really hit the spot. And... More

Location near the cliff top with good walking areas along East cliff and over cliff. Parking an extra £5 a day . The hotel is bargain basement standard. It needs refurbishment and modernising. The meal times are very short. Breakfast from 8 to 9 . 30 and dinner from 6. 30 to 7.f30 which makes for queues to get into... More

Just returned from a 4 Day break at the Bay Majestic Hotel in Bournemouth. This was a perfect break, hotel was very good in every way. We had a very big double room on the top floor at the front of the hotel ( in our opinion the best place to be). There was a good selection of food for... More

Stayed for a three night party weekend self drive break, this being our first visit to a Shearings Bay hotel. The good - great location within easy walk of both Bournemouth and Boscombe. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was basic but well presented and edible. Public areas, bar etc were functional and the three nights entertainment better than expected, the... More
