Basic hotel, clean with no frills, did the job for one night as we were at a party held within hotel. Very close to beach and nigh tlife and bar stayed open as long as we were buying. Lots of music pics, discs and guitars to view on all the walls, overall no complaints for a cheap nights stay. more

A bit about me. I'm 19 years old. I came to Bournemouth to visit some friends, shopping, going to the beach and things like that and for me this hotel was perfect. (I paid for a single-room and got a room with one double bed and one single bed, so I don't know how a single room looks). Good things:... more

As soon as I entered my room I was staggered at how dated the room looked then on further inspection I discovered the sickly patterned curtains were falling down, there was paint on the horrid floral bed spread and under the bedspread was a dirty itchy fleecy blanket. the shower was too small and dripped all night, the bedside light... more

Dripping water within room, unmanned reception desk, suspicious looking couples of same/ different sex checking in for quickie, brawls and fights/ noises at night - possibly police was present late night//early morning hours and indifferent staff who couldn't care less. manager lives in-house but least bothered more

This hotel has dirty rooms. The breakfast was cold, the bedding is national service issue i.e. one sheet one blanket. No snack facilities. Bathrooms just about adequate, overall a total no no for a re-visit. more

We stayed here for a couple of nights while attending a stag do in Bournemouth. The hotel seems to start off great, but each floor you move up - the worse it gets (we were on the top floor!). The main lobby, bar etc. is nice and there's a lot of interesting music memorabilia on the walls. The room, however,... more

Although we live in Dorset we wanted to stay in Bournemouth for two nights as we had tickets to see Billy Connolly at the BIC. After trawling the internet to find a hotel close to the town centre we found that most were charging £100 a night for bed and breakfast. We contacted this hotel direct and got a deal... more
