Had a 1 night booking, found hotel without to much trouble and checked in to our second floor twin bed room. Overall clean and warm . Fresh linen on the beds and adequate bath towel. The room was spacious though tired looking and the remote for the tv needed new batteries but the biggest issue was the badly fitted replacement... More

We have arrived home today after a night's stay and that is 1 night too long. There was 8 of us down for a night out, the price was good £50 for a double &£30 for a single and location ok. On arrival the first impression was ....ok staff could Ave been bit more welcoming and the reception area stank... More

We paid £32 for a double room with breakfast. On arrival nobody was about except a woman receptionist who did not acknowledge us and kept her head down. The rooms are basic and need repair. The walls are paper thin and the heating needs to be turned down. On a plus point it looks like the owners are making efforts... More

This hotel was like a step back in time to a golden age of seaside holidays and was a traditional hotel in every sense of the word. It was very clean, had comfortable beds and a more than adequate en suite. The buffet breakfast was good quality if a bit lacking in variety. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off... More

We booked this hotel as me and my partner were doing the Bournemouth Half Marathon so just need somewhere to stay that was peaceful and clean. Unfortunately the rooms was overall tidy and adequate size however the rooms are in need of repair and modernization. The ceiling in our room obviously had water damage as the ceiling had not been... You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel. It's got a pretty good central-ish location. In fact, very close to an excellent pub that we found on the same road. The hotel is large and well established, so you won't be bothered and it's got all the expected amenities. The flipside is that the whole place looks very... More

If you decide to chance staying at this hotel, be prepared for dirty carpets noisy occupants and soiled bed sheets. Arrived at the hotel and there were somewhat dubious people sitting and standing on the steps of the hotel and on this basis alone the receptionist was asked if we could see the room before booking in. On the 2nd... More

Really don't recommend if you are looking for a lovely little weekend away, good for a cheep night on the booze as it is open late and it's somewhere to stay. Personally had a poor experience.. Shower door was broken which meant the floor was soaked and I had to leave a towel there, the furniture was cheap and very... More

Rooms were basic. Bedding was shoddy, doubled up blanket inside a duvet cover?!!! Doors don't close properly. Receptionists adequate! Night porter needs to keep an eye on the guests. Group of drunks sat on the porch hassling guests when we tried to get in. Drunk bloke asleep on the dirty laundry in the stair well. So all in all if... More

Booked this hotel through hotels.com, omg what a difference in reality than what it shows on the website! This place was disgusting. In reception the sofas didn't even have feet on them and when we got to the rooms, well if you can it that, what a nightmare! Mattress had wee stains, don't think it had been cleaned for months....
