My mum who is 74yrs and her cousin 67yrs have just got back from this hotel tonight not the same owners as previous trips in 2013. They were put in room with double bed and when they asked for twin beds all they did was change the mattress??? Food was not fresh and most of the time not edible. Mums... More

This Hotel like most in Bournemouth is quite old, but they are doing their best to make your stay relaxing. We stayed 3 nights, Our room was lovely, very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfy. The bathroom looked newly refurbished with new bath, shower etc. We had bed, breakfast and evening meal, the food was lovely and... More

I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews of this hotel but was not as bad as some make out. Yes it is a bit dated but the room was clean and bed comfortable. We were provided with extra pillows and an extra blanket as I feel the cold. Upon arrival we found adequate parking and the staff invited... More

Okay.. this isn't the best hotel going, The furniture is retro not dated as it is obviously well kept and new ish, I wish this could be said about the carpet and the wall paper however! These are in need of refitting and asap as well as the radiator which had badly rusted and looked like it had leaked previously.... More

Not a bad hotel, but in need of some TLC. Yes the hotel has a dated feel to it, but that is Britannia Hotels - the idea is that the hotels have an "art deco" feel. If you don't like this kind of thing, I'd seriously suggest a Premier Inn or Travelodge instead. The main problem with the hotel is... More

Hotel old and in need of refurbishment. Creaky floors. Our room at the back did not have a very good outlook, however the room was clean and adequate. The bed was rather hard but slept alright. The staff were very friendly but they were kept so busy so they did not have time to chat. Most of the food was... More
