Very good location ,close to town and beach. The owners are very helpful when we asked for directions. The children were made to feel very welcome. The bedroom clean and the beds comfortable , the only thing I would have preferred is a shower screen rather than a curtain but that's just me as the hotel was very good value... More

The carpet leaves a little to be desired (nice and clean but old fashioned and clashes with lovely wallpaper) but this is a lovely, clean hotel with friendly but not in-your-face staff. I'd be happy to go back.

My last night has been a somber affair, saying good bye to Brian and Wendy, been staying here for the best part of the summer (3months) and it's been great, lovely location 200 yards from Bournemouth pier and great beach, very welcoming, pet friendly, quiet(no hen or stag do's allowed) and extra comfortable regularly cleaned beds. Already booked a family... More

If you want to kept awake by loud music this is the place for you. We had a early ferry to catch and was kept awake until 5.30 am with our 2 year old daughter. The window would not full close either so we could not block out the loud music. This is not the place for families or couples... More

We are not a noisy Hotel as we only take couples and families. The people in question stayed for one night and whilst they made no mention of noise disturbance at the time - we also had no complaints from the other residents that particular night. More

Very friendly people. Breakfast excellent. Room rather tired and the whole hotel needed redecoration as a bit of a mish mash. Fine for overnight stay but would not want to stay longer as felt other hotels I have stayed in have been better value for money.

We were here for one night and it was very comfortable, arriving earlier than expected it was no trouble to leave our car in the car park enabling us to get on with our holiday straight away. We have just returned from a fantastic three night stay at The Charlesworth. Wendy and Brian made us feel so welcome and couldn't be more helpful. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a clean and comfortable room to call a base. Idealy located for the town centre and the seafront there is also plenty of parking... More
