On arrival the downstairs is nicely decorated. Greeted by Tania on reception, who was very friendly and helpful, told us about the area when we asked for suggestions about our time there. The room itself was a little disappointing, it was very clean, but it could do with a paint, new carpets and little things fixed, like lamps and plugs... More

On arrival the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, she had fantastic customer service skills especially when dealing with a hen party of 14. I was allocated a 3 bedroom room but to call it fit for 3 people was a bit of a joke. There was a double bed and a pull out camp bed and hardly any room... More

Absolutely awful ! Never again! Filthy rooms ! Broken fitings dribbling. shower. No mattress covers. Unending door banging. Don't expect any sleep. This must be the worst hotel ever. Couldn't wait to leave.

Stayed overnight in a triple room. The reception and bar area looked lovely and clean. The hallway was clean and well decorated. The room was basic with absolutely no frills - but there was a TV, heater and the beds had clean bedding. The breakfast room in the morning was clean, the waitress was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast... More

Basic cheap no frills room with clean sheets and shower tea making facility is available as Web site states but there is no actual tea/coffee and Web site needs to state this. Cot charge was 2 pounds but I was charged more not a huge problem but Web site needs updating.

Upon entering the building it looked modern and clean. Staff very welcoming. Upon entering the room we were a little disappointed, very basic and dated, overall clean but had stains on the carpet, lighting was poor. I would feel depressed if I had to spend any amount of time there. We weren't in the room much as was going to... More

Room looked nothing like on the website. Was very grotty with broken lamp, no bulb in it. We're warned about stag do noise on arrival and there was lots. Staff were nice and the location is great but rooms need updating. Doors didn't feel that secure. No bedside tables and tv the size of a postage stamp. Fine for one... More

If I had read the reviews,I would not have booked. However the receptionist phoned 3 times to check our requirement. Room and hallways freshly decorated, mostly white. Excellent breakfast, but patchy WiFi. Well located. Compared to 5 star hotel we stayed in on the night before, the facilities more than held their own, if not quite as luxurious. Cheap and... More

Stayed with my children (1 in a wheelchair) the owners couldn't of been more helpful, they put us in a group room, in a seperate part of the hotel but gave us a key for the hotel should we need to get in, the room was big enough to accommodate the beds in there, clean and warm :) bathroom clean... Don't get me wrong, being cheap I wasn't expecting much. Mould on the toast for breakfast when there is a supposed 5 for hygiene on display wasn't good. Most of the beers were also past the best before date. The staff also seemed to be having a bit of a fight in the morning and f*** o** was heard a... More
