Very friendly staff at reception, gym area and restaurant. I didn't have time to investigate amenities so asked on the day of arrival and gave us a few brochures. However the next morning, new staff, gave me a folder with a comprehensive list (A-Z) of all the what to do in Bournemouth, complete with maps - it was wonderful. Gym,... more

We first visited The Village in October 2007, as a get away. We thought that the room was spacious, with room for an extra sofa to sit and relax on. The bed was very comfortable, with lovely pillow too! (always important) We loved the opportunity to use the leisure facilities in the morning, with a nice pool, sauna and steam... more

This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in. The bedrooms are spacious, warm, and well-furnished, and they have a sofa and coffee table as well. Bathrooms are also bright and spacious. There is free wifi here and the facilities are excellent: a pub, restaurant, Starbucks and a very good gym with lots of the latest equipment,... more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of march and had a great stay, The hotel was clean and comfortable with the usual amenities you would expect at a chain hotel . The swimming pool was great, I wasnt expecting it to be full (25m) size and it had jacuzzi/ steam room/ sauna and gym too. We ate... more

Stayed here for one night while visiting relatives in Bournemouth on Boxing Day. Had a buffet/carvery meal in the afternoon that was really nice and well presented. The Room was clean, modern and spacious compared to most hotels I have stayed in, and the whole building was clean, crisp and modern. The Bathroom was also larger than everage. The Bar... more

We stayed at this hotel as six girls for a chill out weekend. The spa area is good with a sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi and lovely pool. We had treatments in the healthworks beauty salon all of which were excellent. The rooms were very clean and spacious and in good decorative order. Restaurant serves good food, wine list a bit disappointing,... more

First night there was a fault in the air conditioning that hummed excessively. We were moved to another room where the humidifier in the bathroom refused to turn itself off and hummed twice as loudly all night ensuring a sleepless night. We were told this was because it was on a timer which was faulty. This was fixed after refusing... more

The Village is a very pleasant hotel, large, clean, and modern with a great leisure club but on the down side it’s a bit bland. It’s a business hotel that could be any where in the UK. We booked in at 4.30pm and were in our room within 10 minutes, staff were very helpful and nice. Our room was on... more
