We stayed for two nights and arrived to a really warm greating from Jonathan who apologised (again) for the on-line booking mix-up! We were offered two rooms and selected the smaller of the two, number 3 at the front of the hotel as this was shaded from the direct sun, which this weekend was approaching 30 degrees! Jonathan provided details... More

We stayed at Cransley for 4 nights last week. we received a warm welcome from jonathan, who gave us lots of useful information about the area, eating out, things to do etc. We stayed in room 11, over- looking the garden. very quiet pretty room, compact but fine for short stay. Lovely touch that Jonathan remembered his guests names. The... More

We stayed at the Cransley for 3 nights and were welcomed brilliantly by Jonathan. The room was absolutely gorgeous as was the Breakfast! The Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main town which has a very young feel to it! We were given plenty of useful suggestions about where to... More

We have stayed in many small B&Bs, including the twenty one in Brighton, which has been voted the best B&B in the World. The Cransley is equally as good in terms of hospitality and the breakfast, but what puts the Cransley on a different level altogether is the beauty of the accommodation and the added bonus of a lovely garden... I had the pleasure of johnny and Simons company for a glorious month and was never once confronted with boredom! They are truly wonderful people with a passion to entertain, host and care for the people that surround them in what is a magnificent place to stay. God bless them and their future with the cransley hotel Regards James Taylor

What a beautiful place this is.... It would knock a five star hotel into a cocked hat, the attention to detail was staggering... Common areas, bedrooms, dining room, lounge, garden, all were perfect and very tasteful... Both owners were charming and extremely helpful....We were attending a Masonic Ladies festival in the hotel opposite and were part of the overflow how... More

We have just spent two nights at the Cransley. It is a beautiful place to stay. The Hotel itself is set back from the road and has good parking facilities. There is a lovely, well kept garden to sit in weather permitting. We were greeted very warmly by Jonathan, one of the owners, who helped to bring in our luggage,... More

That was so kind of you both to take the trouble and time to give us such complimentary remarks. We allotted you Room 2 on the ground floor which does have a larger bathroom and shower than some of the rooms have. I should point out to other Tripadvisor members and users that all rooms are different. Some have bigger... More

This is a gem of a hotel wich offers a class of service that can exceed the very best that you may find anywhere in the UK. The room was comfortable, tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and above all spotless. The on-suite bathroom was luxurious, cotton towels to die for! The hosts - Jonnie and Simon - couldn't do enough to... More
