The Cransley is situated just outside the centre of Bournemouth, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, etc. The hotel is small but immaculately kept, and includes a lounge for residents' use and a garden. Our room was on the small side but as it was effectively only a base for sleeping in we weren't bothered at all. It was... More

Have just returned after a 3 day stay at this hotel . This is the fourth time that we have stayed there. I can confirm that the standards and service are of the highest possible quality, and that nothing is too much trouble. Everyone that we have spoken to on every visit to the CRANSLEY that we have done are... More

I will have to start with the fact that our stay at Cransley inspired me to share this review with all of you, almost immediately after getting back home from the train journey. It was a last minute decision for us to get down to Bournemouth from London and deciding to stay at Cransley was a simple choice based on... More

Stayed here recently for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are comfortable and stylish and the house is immaculately decorated with some fine paintings. The situation was very convenient for us since we had travelled down to Bournemouth by train. It is a pleasant stroll to the beach and near to bus stops for the town centre and... More

I recently stayed in room number 10 for three weeks over April and May 2014. i cannot fault this small friendly hotel at all. Everything was spotless and to a very high standard. Delightful and informative hosts with a lovely garden villa like boutique hotel setting. Would most strongly recommend when in Bournemouth area. Thanks Cransley Hotel for a delightful... More

Having spent the best part of 3 hours on trains and bus replacement services getting down to Bournemouth the welcome we got at the Cransley was just what was needed, chilled out in the (south facing) garden with sun and coffee. All in all a great place, walking distance to the beach and easy to get into Bmouth, cracking breakfasts... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cransley for an extended period due to work commitments in Bournemouth. The Cransley is homely and immaculately decorated with stylish rooms of varying sizes (I had a good nose around!!). The location is perfect, a mere 5 min stroll to the best part of the beach and so peaceful and relaxing. There is... More

This is the second time I've stayed at the Cransley. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is exemplary. I travel round the country on a regular basis and these are far and away the best digs I've stayed in. Long may they continue!

I stayed at 'The Cransley' for one week in January. It was by far my favourite hotel that I've stayed in while touring the country with 'seven brides for seven brothers'. The decor is classic and you can tell a lot of time and money has gone into building such a beautiful hotel. The location is also great, a 10... More

Beautiful B&B, room was clean, bed was very comfy, Shower lacked a bit of power, but apart from that room was great. lounge area was quaint with selection of games to play. Aswell as dinning room to eat breakfast. A Home from home. Highly recommended
