Went to this hotel for a 3 night stay. Check in was super quick, having arrived early, we were in our room by 10:30am. Decor lovely, just been updated. Lovely staff, who seemed helpful. Thought breakfast price was a bit steep so each morning ventured down to Harvester, a 5 min walk on the beach front, where it was good... More

I stayed at the Durley Dean at the end of August to see a show at Bournemouth BIC. The room (201) was ok, a little small but it did the job. However on arrival at 2pm our room wasn't ready, despite booking for check-in at this time. Once the room was ready the water was running brown, we later found... More

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night on the bank holiday Sunday/Monday. Having booked a superior room, I can honestly say the only 'superior' thing was the size of the room. Check in was busy but smooth and the staff were super friendly. For the price we paid, I'm surprised it didn't include breakfast, other hotels in the area... More

This is a nice hotel, but what really makes it is the wonderful staff! We booked into this hotel, after a horrendous experience at another hotel in Bournemouth. The staff welcomed us in and set about rescuing our holiday. It was the little touches here that really made it - the waitress filled up our toddlers water bottles and added... More

My wife and I stayed for just one night in a very small room at great expense. We'd specified that a parking space was essential, but didn't get it. We paid £9.00 to use the NCP instead. The room was clean, bed comfortable, despite being very small it was acceptable. No view, but that didn't matter to us. We'd been... More

Stayed for 3 nights with our teenage kids (16 & 19). Great location, car park tiny but we got a space 1st night, in pubic car park across road on 2nd and on road right outside on 3rd - in Bournemouth this is actually not bad. Rooms nice and clean, beds comfy if you don't move - the doubles are... More

I stayed at the Durley Dean Hotel with my Partner and our 2 Children aged 1 and 5 for 1 night as my partner had travelled to Poole for Business and we tagged along for the ride as it was the School Holidays! We were given a VERY large Double room with an adjoining room for the Children. The adjoining... More

I actually had a nice time in Bournemouth but no thanks to the hotel. To start with the positives - both the room and the hotel itself were reasonably clean and the beds were comfortable. These two things meant that I couldn't justify a one star rating. Apart from that however there were only negatives. The decor was dated, there... More

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2014. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to beautiful beaches and also close to the main roads etc for access to other areas. The price we paid did not include breakfast, we would of had to have paid extra for that, something which i knew when... More

Over priced, dirty and over rated. Needs decorating and new carpets. Never again. Must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Double bed was two twins pushed together. Meant to be a superior room. Hate to think what the normal rooms must be like. Bathroom was dirty and tiny.
