We booked this hotel with a gift voucher form our daughter. When we arrived the reception staff explained that we were a little early for check in but we could leave the car in the car park. We had a lovely walk along the beach, access via steps close to the hotel. On arrival back at the hotel we were... More

We had a two night special offer stay. It is a old rambling hotel, long passages to our room which was very small as was the bathroom, but a large bath and a opening window, and lots of hot water. The reception was friendly, the room clean, the buffet breakfast good, but no fresh fruit. We would stay again but... More

This was everything a person could want for quality and quantity. Regarding cleanliness, room, service and food. However, for somewhere to relax and unwind after dinner with friends......? The hotel bar was very unwelcoming, and the drink prices too prohibitive. A pint of beer, and a glass of wine, just coppers short of a £10 note.!! There were 30 of... More

This was an Amazon Local deal £99 for two nights for two with breakfast. Room 216. 5ft bed, nice and clean, pleasant furnishings, small but adequate bathroom, paintwork bit grubby in bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast in large dining room, no trouble finding a table, buffet style, cereals, fruit juices, fruit, yoghurt, cooked breakfast, toast and preserves,... We booked this hotel for 6/10, but was told approx 6 days before that there pool filter was not working, so we could re-arrange. We did this, but when we arrived yesterday 16/10/614 they neglected to tell us that the rest of the hotel was being painted, and generally being updated. We arrived to a strong smell of gloss (not... Room very clean and tidy. Food excellent with a wide choice. Staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Refurbishment taking place but the staff made sure this didn't affect their guests. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return ourselves.

Arrived with my disabled son, my daughter and her husband. First thought was how will we get my wheelchair bound son in! No problem, they have a special chair which can go up and down steps, staff were excellent at doing this, never too much trouble for them. All staff were friendly and very helpful, particular thanks to the general... More

Booked this Hotel for one night only thank goodness. Booked on the basis it was dog friendly....wrong. Dog was only allowed in the room nowhere else in Hotel. No provision made for pets at all. Was asked to leave the bar after being served 2 drinks with the (well behaved ) dog. Parking difficult small car park, Staff were not... More

Arrived on Thursday the 10 Oct for 3 day 2 night deal in the national papers. Read some reviews and went with an open mind. We had room 334 at the back of the hotel overlooking the car park nice and quite. The deal was bed & breakfast and evening dinner both nights. Three choices of starter, main course and... More

My Wife and I stayed here 23-29 Sep, it was a groupon deal so we thought great 'bargain' when we arrived all the communal areas were being decorated so the entire place stank of paint – the main selling point which was the swimming pool was out of order along with all the other leisure falsities. The rooms were very small,... More
