Booked hotel with WoWcher offer £59 for BB, was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. Check in was fine, fast and efficient, on arrival to our room (room 122 I think), shock, horror, the room was awful, it had a small double bed in what was barely a single room, it was nudged in close to the wall, so... A group of 8 girls stayed at the Durley Dean hotel in Bournemouth. Initially we were greeted by a rude receptionist, who demanded a £40 per head deposit. We had not been informed of this by the hotel, so were all taken a back! We managed to negotiate this down to half the money per head, but this was after... More

first time we have stayed at this hotel , staff were very pleasant when we saw them, quite concerned no security around on both nights when we returned back to the hotel, and also very disappointed we had to walk over people on the entrance steps all the time. I did make a complaint about the room very warm and... More

Stayed here for two nights in late June 2014 with a golfing party of 16 as part of an MGT package. 210 turned out to be a large but somewhat bleak room with a window overlooking a brick wall and not far from kitchen extract fans. The king size bed was comfortable enough but the room was hot and stuffy... More

We stayed as a couple for two nights at the Durley Dean. Staff were friendly on arrival, room was well presented, if a little small and with no view of anything other than a brick wall. This didn't bother us but might be an issue for others, we were in room 201 as we wanted only to use the room... More

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Bournemouth. All staff were attentive and helpful as we were a large group of cheerleaders but the staff didn't act like we were a bother at all. Rooms were a bit hot but that's the only complaint as they were beautiful inside!! Spacious and the bathroom was amazing. Will stay... More

Book executive room, wasn't done upgraded us to suite (3 flights of stairs no lift), no fans available, swimming was shut for refurbishment, sauna was closed!! I feel they should have informed us about that when booking. I had booked it for our anniversary and felt let down by the whole experience

Location: very close to the beach and to city center, 5-10 min walk. Amazing Italian restaurants just in 5 min walk (Pinocchio and La Piazza are the best!!). Rooms: free wifi which... More
