The hotel was amazing... it really fitted are requirements for the weekend! Lovely rooms.. although we did have to make some slight ajustments to the layout and add are own personal touches (mini bar). We recomend you bring along a mini fridge for the purpose off storing your beverages! Great 24 hour bar with a great bar man.. lush sofas!... more

I had gone to Bournemouth with my parents for an overnight stay. Since it was just a matter of one night I was looking at some place cheap, just good enough for sleeping and getting presentable as we'd be spending most of our time on the beach. Also I was searching a hotel just 3 days before the long weekend... more

The lobby looked ok when we arrived, it had a huge fish tank in the foyer although apon reflection i could have sworn i saw one of the fish mouthing "run for you lives" from behind the glass! The locks on the doors of the rooms were broken and a few members of our party were locked out for an... more

Looked ok in the foyer - although not very welcoming. The lights in the bar were all off, no light above the pool table and all the games machines were switched off. Got the feeling they didnt really want you hanging around at night. Got into the room and thought oh jeez. Ropey door locks for a start. The bedding... more

Stayed for two nights in a group of 19 for a stag do. What I'm looking for in this type of trip is somewhere to wash and sleep and that's about it, this was perfect! Rooms were an OK size, grotty in places but not there for the decor. ten min walk from shops and bars in town, 5 mins... more

I recently stayed at the Maemar hotel for a weekend birthday celebration. Our rooms were clean, tidy and warm, although are not up to franchise hotel standards. The TV was tiny and only had 4 channels, the shower temperature was a bit random and our room had ripped wall paper. I wasn’t particularly convinced with the locks on the doors... more

We stayed in this hotel in October of this year and I can safely say it was the worst experience of a hotel stay ever!!!!! We came home after a night out on Friday evening and woke up Saturday to find our beds infested with bed bugs!! I am yet to receive our refund and it has been nearly a... more

A small fairly grotty room with a tiny bathroom with splash marks on the walls, a room with scuff marks on the ceiling, a window that opened onto the noise of (someone else's) air conditioning unit, and then to cap it all a double bed that looked okay until we got in and realised it was actually 2 single beds... more

Stayed with a hen party. Cheap and cheerful hotel. Good location however walls are very thin, could here person next door snoring and people above walking around. Beware the lift, it stopped between floors, which was scary. Worst part was waking up Sunday morning with no water! There are no phones in the rooms, so had to go all the... more
