Very Friendly place to stay, staff were excellent, Situated very conveniently in the middle of all attractions ie 2 mins from beach, BIC center, and main shopping area. Come out the hotel straight into the lower gardens where there is always something going on. Hotel itself was very quirky with squeaky floorboards which just added to its character. We had... More

Friendly staff, comfortable room, very good food. What's not to like? The best feature is the location: minutes to the beach, minutes to the shops, and it's a pleasant walk through the gardens whichever direction you take. I find this hotel charming and restful. I can highly recommend it

I have to say I was in shock! First we walked in to what can only be described as a nursing home to a receptionist who as adequate he gave us the Room key and sent us up to room 46 level 3. I didn't mind the old beautiful lift (apart from the fake brick wall paper). The floors were... More

We were welcomed by a very pleasant lady on Reception, who then recognised us throughout our stay. Our room was ready despite us being a bit early. The corridors are a little tired looking but the room was more up to date, clean and comfortable. It was reasonably spacious for a 'corner' room and was perfect for me and my... More

Average is not really fair but very good is not quite right either. The owners were very nice, its a hotel in a fantastic position, can be a little nosiy though. Rooms are clean but a little on the outdated side. The hotel infact was very clean in all areas. The breakfast was good, hot and served promptly. Car parking... More

We are active dancesport competitors and stayed there for the Bournemouth Summer Festival (end of July 2014). We had stayed at the Arlington the year before, and both the location and the service were just right for us! Staff were incredibly helpful - changed our rooms to a cooler one and gave us a fan. They also put our ice... More

I stayed in a single room. Cannot rate the bed comfort as I did not slept in the room at all and cannot comment on breakfast which I paid for but did not manage to try. Anyway, the staff is ok, room is small but it is expected for a single room. The walls are paper thin, you can hear... More

Mount Pleasant Senior Citizens stayed at this hotel from July 14th to July 18th. We cannot praise this hotel enough, it is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed it. The staff were all all very pleasant and helpful. Everyone was very pleased with their rooms. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal where you had a joint... More

We had a 2 night break which included breakfast, dinner and a show. Our room, (as requested by us prior to our arrival) overlooked the lovely park and gardens. The bathroom was modern, the room large and everything was immaculate. The food was fantastic. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The hotel had adequate parking space,... More

A wonderful central location within short walking distance of centre. A charming hotel, if moving towards shabby chic with some tired areas. Spacious well appointed room but old fashioned to have sheets and blankets rather than duvets. If on business you must wait for breakfast at 8.00 or have a continental bkfst served by the night porter before 7.30. Dinner... More
