We had an excellent 3 days in the Hermitage hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the location is perfect and the rooms are big. Moreover the hotel is one of the cleanest I have seen. The hotel is on the beach but you won't find a grain of sand in the hotel. It is child friendly. The breakfast... More

The Hermitage enjoys one of the best locations in Bournemouth, on the edge of the lower gardens, opposite the Bournemouth International Centre, and a stones throw from the pier and beach. On checking in the staff were friendly and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a little difficult to get going, but was eventually fine. Being... More

Chose to stay here for our trip to see Lee Evans at the BIC, it is literally directly opposite! However, for £186 I feel that it is quite expensive for a double room and a buffet breakfast to be honest. The walls must be made of paper as you could hear everything in the corridor and adjoining rooms. The bath/shower... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Hermitage Hotel many times during the past five years generally for between four and six days each time. We always book several months before our holiday so we can have the same sea view bedroom. We have dinner in the restaurant each evening and have always been very pleased with our meals.... More

We have stayed at Bournemouth many, many times over the years and enjoyed the resort, its facilities and the many places it has to visit in the area. For us, staying in Bournemouth presents a problem though and that is trying to find a decent, well placed hotel with its own parking. This years visit to Bournemouth saw us travelling... More

Great location. Lovely hotel, great friendly helpful professional staff, comfortable quiet spacious (superior) room with everything we needed including bath robes/slippers. the only negative were the pillows - not the best. The bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and a superb choice! cannot fault it at all. would happily stay again and would not hesitate to... More

This is the fourth time we have stayed here and EVERY time has been a pleasure. We now visit with my 8 year old daughter and she doesn't want to stay anywhere else. Staff always friendly and helpful, rooms clean and spacious and food is absolutely lovely. We WILL be back!!!

This was my first visit to Bournemouth and I wanted a central 4 star hotel, so chose the hotel from the tourist brochure. I always ask for a double bed and was offered a compact room, double bed with a sea view. This sounded attractive so I accepted although I had reservations about the use of the word compact. Upon... I booked here as a last minute 3 night stay via the hotel website and although expensive my mother and I had a very pleasant break. I had asked for a sea view twin room and said that my mother had problems walking so would not be able to climb stairs and all this was taken into consideration as we... More

We stayed at the Hotel this weekend for one night whilst celebrating a friends Birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The public areas of the Hotel were tastefully decorated and the food in the restaurant was excellent; both the dinner at night and the breakfast. The 'front of house' waiter especially gave great service. We didn't expect a... More
