This Victorian Hotel is ideally located and has been updated throughout. It offers free parking and 'wifi' The staff are friendly and there are ample public areas. The Restaurant is well managed. Having stayed in several hotels in this areas over 30 years this is better than the more expensive Marriott, Highcliff and much better that the Holiday Inn Express.... more

We celebrated out wedding anniversary for a couple of nights at the beginning of March.We had a standard roon which was comfortable although a little warm as was the whole hotel.The food was good and dinner was served promptly even though the restaurant was full hosting a masonic 'event'. For the second year running we had a Ladies Festival at the Hermitage. There were 85 of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is perect, the accomodation, food, and service were faultless. Highly recommended. more
