Good, typical British holiday hotel. Room was a little tired - especially the bathroom, but was very clean. Bed very comfortable Floors creaked when you walked - could be annoying to those staying in the room below. Breakfast was well cooked. Reception friendly and helpful. Only niggle was the lack of a blind in the bathroom. Would use this hotel... More

I fell by this hotel by chance because the other one I tried to get into ( the Connaught ) was fully booked and do they made the call for me. It was pouring with rain but what a great experience. All the Friendly staff made my short stay so memorable. The room was clean and great value. When they... More

Stayed at the Montague Hotel for one night whilst visiting the BIC. Room was on the top floor so very quiet. It was very clean and the windows opened more than an inch as with most hotels! Very clean bathroom with a walk in shower and plenty of towels. Hotel is a 10 minutes walk, at the top of a... More

I was quite excited about visiting a Best Western (this is what my life has become...) out of all of the major budget hotel chains, it was the only one I hadn't yet been to this year and I'd heard good things about them. Upon a arriving, I managed to scoop up the last parking space in the car park... More

Very nice hotel, lovely clean room and bathroom with lots of lovely towels. Hotel at top of a hill so not good if you struggle with walking. Cooked breakfast on the small size only one slice of bacon and one sausage.

Visited this hotel with 2 sisters for a long weekend break during the beginning of August 2014. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast cooked by Michael. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. Would return.

We stayed there for a night ,first my impression is choking (very outdated carpet, decor ,facilities, tiny reception and bar ,lounge reminds me of the John Wayne Western movies). Our family room is really poorly designed and small for three of us(a tired double bed and sofa bed for my daughter who has refused to sleep on ),it took us a while... More

A short walk takes you to the cliff top, and then 10 min easy walk to pier or a few minutes down steps to clean sandy beach, beachside cafes and restaurant. Any requests (a noise issue, housekeeping, directions, parking) and the staff provided solutions. So friendly and cheerful - a real asset. Breakfasts fine and even a little special eg... More
